How to Keep tokidoki LeSportsac Bags Clean

Spray Scotch Guard on each bag before you use it (on the nylon parts only). Just make sure the bag is REALLY clean before using Scotch Guard, or it will stick to any dirt and make it look worse. Each spray application will keep your bag pretty dirt-resistant for up to 6 months. Remove the qee and chain from the bag or cover them up before spraying the Scotch Guard on, and try not to hit the leather and hardware (it’s not the end of the world if you do though, just wipe it off with a clean sponge).

To wipe off dirt, Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work well – they take some patience and persistence if your bag is really dirty though. You can also use a tiny bit of Woolite and a soft sponge and/or Tide pens for cleaning Tokidoki bags.

You can find Scotch Guard, Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, Woolite, and Tide pens in the cleaning products aisle of any supermarket.

Sorry for the double post but I read somewhere that some girl tried to use soap and water to clean her TKDKxHK 35th anniversary tote and then tried to use bleach to spot clean an area… and it made it worse.

    Please help!

Oh man, I have a huge problem and will be eternally grateful if someone can help me. I haven’t read any solutions to my problem here so far.

I have a beautiful Inferno hobo bag that I paid a small fortune for and love to pieces. And my damn cat peed on it. She jumped up on the table I keep it on and peed right on my bag.

I need to fully wash the bag, like, inside and out because she SOAKED it with urine. I don’t know what to do. I wanted to soak it in the bathtub with some detergent or something but then I read that would ruin the leather. I wanted to get it dry cleaned, but read that wasn’t an option or the bag would be ruined.

    GAH! HELP!

Some people say you can dry clean the leather. I personally have my doubts about this. But if it is a viable option, it may be your only one. The only other thing that would be a half job would to just give it a soak below the leather. I would also spank the cat :)

The leather must get darker or change color after putting in the washer? Anyone care to share?
