Christina- Fortunately I haven't had any problems with my first season bags, rivets or otherwise.

Slayerbabe - maybe one day you will find a good deal on a used first season bag on ebay!

I purchased my bella at the 5th Ave NYC store. I had such a time with the rivets popping off! I finally howled enough that they sent me a replacement strap. I had my local shoemaker do the repairs.

The next generations of bags have been much better. No probs.

Has anyone else encountered this problem with first generation bags?

OMG! My favourite prints! You are so lucky! Too bad I have to be a millionaire's daughter to own these in my country! Their prices are 20 - 30% mark up of it's original price :(
