  1. This is sad. These people should be in jail! =(

  2. Kim says:

yikes! i hate seeing them on eBay enough :[

  3. Serita says:

    That’s really irritating.

  4. Jennifer says:

My older sis called me from the swap meet here in San Diego when she was there on Saturday and said that someone is selling Tokidoki bags. I asked for how much and she said $29. Too fake to be true!

  5. annie says:

that is REALLY irritating. not only for people who have real ones, but for the poor idiots who are too dumb to realize that tokidoki bags are never going to cost $29.

    gah.

  6. Phuong says:

i have to admit i like the scattered print on gray . . . looks like a cross between the inferno print and one of harajuku lover’s bags.

i don’t think i would mind paying $29 for a print that i really liked but couldn’t afford. it’s not like coach or lv where back in the day, you were paying for leather and workmanship. the lesportsac bags are ripstop nylon.

and actually, that reminds me, a month into carrying my amore gioco the stitching fell apart. i was at a cat show and all of the sudden my strap fell off my arm. I was standing there dumbfounded, with one end of the strap in one hand and my bag in the other, disbelieving that a bag that i just paid $160 for, was rendered, essentially, useless. for those of you curious, i called lesportsac and they told me to send it in and they’ll replace it. luckily there is no particular print placement that i need for this.

  7. Leah says:

I saw tons of fake Tokidoki bags while I was in the night markets in Taiwan.

  8. slayerbabe says:

I recognize that place. It’s Petaling Street (AKA chinatown) in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

  9. Jennifer says:

Phuong, where did you end up buying your bag? Did you use it everyday? I have a couple of Tokidoki bags and they are perfectly fine….and I’ve had one of them since the beginning of this year. When I buy mine at Macy’s, I make sure everything is in place. I look at it up and down and all around before I delve into purchasing something knowing it’s gonna cost a grip.

I’ve found this seller selling FAKES BY TONS… just look at her album http://new.photos.yahoo.com/lesportsac4you/albums/ . AArrGgghhhhh…

  11. Caitlin says:

those fakes look really good…. but they are still fake!

  12. Elyna says:

I hate fakes and and in Asia, some who buy it dont even know Tokidoki at all..

  13. Phuong says:

    Jennifer,
I “mail-ordered” my bag from Pulse. I live in Tampa and there are no stores here that carry Toki stuff; no Macy’s, no Nordstrom’s, no Neimen’s. Although, I was at this little ghetto mall near my neighborhood, this store called d.e.m.o. had the Moofia figurines. At any rate. Nothing on the bag gave me any indication that it was poorly assembled. I have a couple of other bags and they have all held up pretty well. I’m at least thankful that I didn’t buy it on ebay because lesportsac would obviously not replace it.

  14. Eve says:

honestly, from those photos and the price, I gotta tell you they look pretty nice! BUT they are still fakes! and I hate fake bags!!!!!!!!!! but you know for someone who cannot recognize the difference between real and fake they will go buy a fake bag if the price is right! and that is sad~

  15. Sandra says:

I’m going to Vietnam and Hong Kong in 2 weeks and I don’t really mind the fake bags. If I see one I like and it’s a fraction of the price I pay here, I’d get one just as a souvenier and to bring to places where I’d be worried to bring my real bags because I don’t want them to get dirty. Of course I don’t trust ebay or a place I cannot touch and feel the bag, but if I see it at a cheap market I’ll dive right in!

  16. Jojo says:

i think it’s stupid how some people say it’s ’sad’ . most people probably can’t even tell . how cares if it’s fake as long as it works !

  17. Jackie says:

I really love Simone Legnos artwork, and I think it looks amazing on these bags. I think its pretty much a matter of personal opinion to carry a real one. Personally, I love the artists work so I would probably shell out the money to buy one. The only thing I cant get over is the fact I am paying so much for nylon (which is why I cant decide weather to get one or not). I think if they used more expensive materials for thier bags I wouldnt hesitiate. Ideally, I would like to see a nice genuine leather hobo style satchel with the same type of imbelishments, then maybe throw in a nice long patent leather (then short handles) strap with a tokidoki character buckle. That would look amazing. Something like gucci meets tokidoki. The bags from Lesport sac are just too easy to copy and probly just as cheaply made.

  18. Apple says:

I don’t think that it’s a matter of it being “sad” in the sense that the consumer doesn’t know whether or not it’s a real bag. It’s “sad”, depressing, disturbing, etc.. because there are people that will capitalize on the design of someone else. tokidoki is a fantastic line, clearly, it just sucks that there are people out there willing to make money off of someone else’s idea and artwork.

  19. Margaret says:

how do u get those things anyway? i cant really afford real tokidoki, and i bought a fake one(i like it a bunch) on ebay, but its pretty much the same thing as selling fake chanel or coach, all what the ppl do it for is the money

  20. Anna says:

I saw some fake TokiDoki bags in Chinatown in San Francisco for about $180… Watch out..

  21. Lupe says:

The only reason i know about tokidoki is because of the fakes. My friend bought me two fake inferno bags in china, and then i started collecting the real stuff.
One positive out of many negatives!

  22. Susan says:

I’ve seen the one with the school locker design on ebay, not even close to tokidoki..but it’s not another lesportsac print?

  23. annechimoroll says:

I went to Vietnam last year and I saw this fake tokidoki bag.
It was about $12!!! I was going to buy it but didn’t in the end. My mum reckons the lady that sold the bag would have reduced the price down even further!! O:
