Okay, looking at the link you posted to the real bag, I feel like an idiot for even questioning if it was real or not. I think the bags are definitely fake. Too bad two sold already. Hopefully Jenny can get this one shut down soon! I’ll save pictures of the fake in case anyone wants them for reference. This is just so sad. More fakes to look out for

Nik that is definitely a fake. I have reported it to ebay AND tokidoki, as well as sent a message to the seller asking them to remove the listing as selling counterfeit items is against ebay policy. Hopefully it doesn’t sell. I can’t believe people are bidding!

@Laur- these 3 bags look pretty authentic. I am not seeing the misspelling your talking about. Dirty would seem more authentic. It’s a little odd to have 3 of these bags with tags, but to give her the benefit of the doubt, she doesn’t have any more listed, so she’s not pumping out fakes or anything. Why on earth did you want to buy 3 of the same cut is beyond me, but that is just personal opinion. If you could post the pics of the items you actually received I could help you out, or you could email me and I could take a closer look.
@Brita- it took me awhile to locate the bag you are speaking of. I finally found it, item # 330485964245. You are mistaken about this being a fake. This is a very rare bag that many may be interested in. It is from before LeSportSac days when the artist was still fairly unknown. Since I find it aesthetically unattractive, it is not on my to buy list, though I have had a couple opportunities to snag it cheap.
Emma is correct on both counts. The bags Laur and Brita are questioning are all real.
In the future, if people with questions could post links to the items they have questions about, that would be very helpful.

It looked so oddly misshapen and badly put together that I thought it was a fake – his work has definitely improved.

It’s isn’t put up for a substantial amount of money, but it’s still so wrong to do that.
And what should one do about people that list Lesportsac purses that aren’t associated with the tokidoki brand, but are advertised as such?

No, that bag is definitely NOT AUTHENTIC! There was no tokidoki for Lesportsac bag made in that style and the inside floral print is definitely NOT tokidoki. It is sad that ppl try to sell these knock offs as real ones on eBay!
The best thing everyone can do about the fake bags on ebay is to go to the report item button on the right hand side of the page. If you can report as many as you have time for that is the only way to get them taken down, because ebay will NOT take it down from only one buyer’s report. If 3 or more different buyers report them the sellers may get suspended from ebay or have the item taken down. Brita’s link is the common style from the factories, this lining is a sure sign of a fake bag for any brand, whether lesportsac, tokidoki, hello kitty and others.
It is very sad.
It now has one bid on it and hasn’t yet been removed; I have reported it again and I’m hoping that the item is removed before the bidder shells money out for a fake.

I’m hoping that the person who purchased the above listing realized it was a fake and didn’t mind. I know I occasionally buy cheap Tokidoki-style bags, but they’re in no way direct knock-offs or claiming to be Tokidoki. They’re just cute imitations that have a different art style but similar aesthetic.

This site is owned by an avid tokidoki lover so she doesn’t have mass amounts of bags to sell (just a lover of all things tokidoki like all of us!) but don’t u think she did a great job giving us an extensive site where you can find the latest updates for tokidoki sightings and deals, not to mention how to avoid a fake tokidoki? You should really check out that to help you in researching and finding an authentic bag. If you are planning on purchasing off of eBay, she does have a great page of who the real sellers are vs the fake sellers…buying a tokidoki bag nowadays does take a bit of research what with all the fakes filtering around

Those tokidoki for Hello Kitty bags are definitely fake.
I’ve seen the one listed as “Gorgeous Hello Kitty Handbag Purses Tote Bag With Lock” on another website where the seller even confirmed it was a fake. Also, look at where she’s shipping from. I don’t think you should trust any seller from Asia.

They both look authentic to me.. but the “tokidoki for Lesportsac” logo on the inside looks a little odd to me on the Stellina. But I’m pretty sure it’s real because of the hardware+interior color as well as the qee.

no, stellina is not large. The 3 bags I bought at 100 and under were scuola, luna, and zucca, if you must know. The fair condition bag was a cucciolo.
Some people are not experts on the Tokidoki bags. It would be help full if you contact eBay sellers and educate them instead of thinking that they are intentionally trying to sell fake bags.
haha, AJ. I have gotten some rude people recently, and their bags were REALLY fake. They just give you attitude and laugh in your face. A few are apologetic and didn’t realize. Sometimes I get tired of sending messages over and over to different people. We all do things differently.
Emma- You should really check out the Oahu Craigslist. I have found tons of toki for my daughter there. Most were $125 or less. My daughter currently has 113 toki and I have never paid retail for any of them.

ok, not to be rude, but I thought I had tokidoki issues. Anyone can buy a ton of tokidoki bags, I just hope you got them at good prices, otherwise, not impressive. You can get almost ANY of these bags (besides the spanish one) if you hand over the dough, I see them on a regular basis.
I have a feeling you outbid me on the one pink vinyl with the heart one (it came with two bags?) Now I don’t feel so bad for having a luna, scuola, and stellina in La’more print. Though I want to sell the stellina.

Emma- If you notice my SN I am a DAD! I bought all these for an over achieving daughter. I like to think of it as rewarding my daughter for all the pleasure she has brought to my wife and I. I really wish there was a way to know what styles were made from the missing info from tutti on in this blog all the way to the new bags. I wish the tokidoki site could have something, that would really help combat and educate about counterfeit bags.
