Pulse has Famiglia bags in stock now!! If you have ordered from Pulse before, you can e-mail Casey at casey@pulsestl.com to place your order. If you are ordering for the first time from Pulse, call 636-519-4022 to order. Here is Pulse’s official photo of the print – it confirms that the dots are indeed larger than it seemed like they would be from the print swatch:

Reader leah also just reported that A. Okay Official at Clark/Aldine in Chicago got part of their order of Famiglia Tokidoki bags in stock today.
YAY FIRST COMMENT! okay that being said, i like this print! the colors make it seem more mature so that my MOM can actually buy one. she always complains the prints on the old bags were too “young” looking and it would awkward on her!
I’m still very ambivalent about this print. Though I’d still like to take a look at it when it comes into stores.
Hmmm, I shall pre-order the Vacanze instead XD
I can’t say I’m too fond of this design, which is odd for me because I love most all Tokidoki products.
Not too crazy about this print, might just get a smaller bag in this one =)
i’m excited to see this in person. it’s a shame that there aren’t any stores around here that sell tokidoki bags.
I’m thinking about getting a Stellina in this print. I love the Stellina bag style, but I don’t own any of them yet because the front breaks up the print so much – but I think this print just might be perfect for it.
I’ve preordered a luna for this print. Can’t wait for it to arrive
I will be in Chicago July 6th and would like to know where all the good stores are for Tokidoki bags and toys.
Can someone help me?
Thanks so much!!!!!
Hi Rae Rae. A. Okay Official on the north side of the city (3270 N. Clark) is great for tokidoki bags and toys (I got a Famiglia Stellina there yesterday). In addition to all the prints now available, plus blanco, notte and fumo, they have a LOT of styles to choose from. Bloomingdales on Michigan Ave. carries tokidoki bags but generally gets new prints in really late so they might not have Famiglia when you’re in town, if that’s what you’re looking for. Also, Bloomingdales only seems to carry a few styles. Neither the Macy’s or Nordstrom here in Chicago carry the bags. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Also, Chicago Comics (a few doors down from A. Okay Official) also carries some tokidoki toys, but for some reason they charge more for them than A. Okay.
Leah that is awesome! Thanks.
I live in Kansas City and no one around her carries the handbags. Well one place did, but they haven’t had any since January.
Again, your the best!!
Leah, any other cool places you can recomend along the same line as A.Okay or Chicago Comics? My husband and I love anything Japanese.
Thanks for your help! Rae Rae
I totally agree that a Stellina in this print would work well. I don’t have a Stellina yet either for the same reason, because the print gets broken up in the front and looks cluttered. But since this is a much less busy design, it should work well on a bag like the Stellina.
Regarding tokidoki in Chicago, Macys on State Street has a ton of bags in the pirata, and adios star prints.
I am very sure I’m going to get this one. But I can’t decide between the Stellina and Mamma Mia.
I would have to see it in person but it still isn’t my cup of tea. I will probably wait for transporto.
Wow, Macy’s here in Chicago finally got some tokidoki bags in stock, huh? I gave up on them awhile ago. Besides I love the idea of supporting a privately owned store like A. Okay rather than the big corporate department stores.
Rae Rae, there is another great designer toy store here called Rotofugi (1953 W. Chicago Ave.) It’s a little west of the loop, but definitely worth checking out. Nice website too. I’ll give your question some more thought and see if I can remember any other nifty stores.
Raerae-
Not sure exactly what kind of adventure you’re looking for. Mitsuwa is a Japanese grocery store on West Arlington. It’s further west, kinda near O’Hare. It may sound strange to visit a grocery store, but Mitsuwa is so cool! They have a food court with 10 different restaurant vendors. They have a Sansiedo book/magazine store. A Japanese liquor store. Hippo Japanese bakery. If you go on Saturday or Sunday, they have lots of samples. I may be crazy, but I love grocery stores! It’s a wonderfully real cultural day out. To that end: Chicago also has an amazing “Polish Town”.
The big H&M on Michigan Ave is considered a “design center.” The Chicago. NYC, LA & Miami are the only H&Ms that stock the celebrity/designer lines.
There are also many neat little shops in the neighborhoods.
Have fun.
Thank you all for so many great tips!
Christina, the grocery store sounds awesome!
I don’t think we can make it there this time since we are only going for one night.
Next time for sure!!
I don’t get why people don’t like this print. It’s just as cute as other prints. I love it because everything is very neat and evenly spaced out.
I love this print! The neutral background and circle pattern do make it look grown up. Which means I feel more comfortable taking it to the office. You have to get close up to see the characters in the circles, I nice surprise. I hope they make this one in Zucca.
im not really into this recent style of tokidoki print… i like the ones before, i hope they continue to make prints like the ones before…. i luv tokidoki tho!
I saw the Famiglia print in person and it was ok. The print on the bag I saw looked a bit blurry.
Has anyone ever experienced that?
