I saw the Famiglia print in person and it was ok. The print on the bag I saw looked a bit blurry.

Has anyone ever experienced that?

I love this print! The neutral background and circle pattern do make it look grown up. Which means I feel more comfortable taking it to the office. You have to get close up to see the characters in the circles, I nice surprise. I hope they make this one in Zucca.

I don't get why people don't like this print. It's just as cute as other prints. I love it because everything is very neat and evenly spaced out.

Raerae-
Not sure exactly what kind of adventure you're looking for. Mitsuwa is a Japanese grocery store on West Arlington. It's further west, kinda near O'Hare. It may sound strange to visit a grocery store, but Mitsuwa is so cool! They have a food court with 10 different restaurant vendors. They have a Sansiedo book/magazine store. A Japanese liquor store. Hippo Japanese bakery. If you go on Saturday or Sunday, they have lots of samples. I may be crazy, but I love grocery stores! It's a wonderfully real cultural day out. To that end: Chicago also has an amazing "Polish Town".

The big H&M on Michigan Ave is considered a "design center." The Chicago. NYC, LA & Miami are the only H&Ms that stock the celebrity/designer lines.

There are also many neat little shops in the neighborhoods.

Have fun.

Wow, Macy's here in Chicago finally got some tokidoki bags in stock, huh? I gave up on them awhile ago. Besides I love the idea of supporting a privately owned store like A. Okay rather than the big corporate department stores.

Rae Rae, there is another great designer toy store here called Rotofugi (1953 W. Chicago Ave.) It's a little west of the loop, but definitely worth checking out. Nice website too. I'll give your question some more thought and see if I can remember any other nifty stores.
