Canadian tokidoki Fans Take Note
Reader Serita wrote in to warn any Canadian tokidoki fans to be sure that they have their items shipped via USPS instead of UPS when ordering from the tokidoki website (or any other website or store that doesn’t automatically ship via USPS). If you have your items shipped via UPS, you will get hit with fees that almost double your purchase price upon delivery.

UPS has a lovely “Customs Broker Fee” that they charge, so they make a ton of money delivering packages from the US to Canadians. I had a really upset customer on Ebay, and I covered the fee for her, and I thanked her for letting me know. I will never, ever offer UPS to Canada again. USPS Global Priority to Canada works great.
