Infrequent Posting Alert

My internet time is going to be sporadic for the next month or so – expect posts to be more infrequent and responses to comments and e-mails to be a lot slower than usual until mid to late September. I’ll catch up here and there when I can though. :)

Thank you for all you do here!!!

hi i was wondering about the tokidoki fornarina shoes, and had a question about if they ran small or large. and if i wore a size 8 should i order a size 8?

  3. Brie says:

I let you Steph any news about tokidoki that you may haved missed.

  4. dangster says:

Apparently, nordstrom.com is already selling a Transporto Ciao Ciao and Portatelefono.

  5. Veronica says:

I just went on the Nordstrom.com and could not locate the Transporto items . I read from a previous post that the Lesportsac stores will no longer carry the Tokidoki line . You can only order on-line which means no print placement . If Nordstrom or Macy’s has them in store to purchase , then I will buy the items . Or else I might wait until the Transporto line hits the outlet store in South Hampton so I can get help with print placement .

  6. Kiesha says:

dangster – those items are up on the website, but the approximate ship date isn’t until 9/21/07. so, you can essential just preorder the items, and they’ll ship them to you when they receive their stock of trasporto items.

  7. Kiesha says:

clearly that’s supposed to say “…ESSENTIALLY just preorder…” LOL.

veronica – when looking for the items on nordstrom.com, you just go to the tokidoki brand page and click on the portatelefono [which, from what i see, is the only bag currently available to be preordered in the trasporto print]. then in the “color” menu, the option for trasporto is listed. but, you’re right, you have no say in print placement.

you could wait until the line hits the outlets stores, but there’s no guarantee that it’ll make it that far. you can try calling pulse when they receive their shipment because a lot of the times people preorder multiple bags and decide they don’t want all of them. they help with print placement – ask for casey – and they use priority mail as well. other than that, you could always keep an eye out for stuff popping up on ebay.

hope that helps a bit. :) good luck!

  8. Veronica says:

Thanks Kiesha for the information . Maybe I will try Pulse when the Transporto line comes out if my local Nordstrom’s or Macy’s stores don’t have much of a selection . Although I’ve had good luck with my purchases from the out-let stores . I’ve always managed to get what I wanted as far as bag style as well as print placement .

  9. J. Fisk says:

they have more at Nordstrom’s site
do any of you recommend the gioco?

  10. Jennifer says:

Love the Gioco! I have it in the Pirata style. Love the Zucca! Have it in the Spiaggia style. Just got the Ciao in the Tutti….lovin’ it, too! =D

  11. Veronica says:

Hi J.Fisk I own two in the Paradiso print . One that I use the other is for my collection . The Gioco is my most favorite of all the Lesportsac bags . I like the shape as well as the size . I perfer not to carry a really huge bag , but it’s still very roomy . However I plan to purchase a Zucca in the Transporto print when it comes out . I also like the shape .

  12. Brie says:

Gioco is a nice bag. Although my fave is buon viaggo. What I like about the Gioco is you can put a set of pj’s in the bag!

I need help to pick a school bag. I want to get a Campeiggno or a Cucciolo but the thing is that if I get a Cucciolo I don’t want people to think I am carrying a diperbag to school thinking I have a baby! So I was wondering if any of you ladies used a Cucciolo for a school bag?

    Thanks.

  13. Elisabetta says:

I just got a Campeggio in Tutti. Personally, I think Campeggio would be great as an everyday school bag. It’s got plenty of pockets and it is very roomy. Good luck picking your new school bag Brie.

    Thanks.

  14. Kiesha says:

Brie – I know of a few people that use the cucciolo as a school bag, and I’ve preordered one in trasporto to use as a school bag myself. I’ve heard that the campeggio’s a good bag for school, but the opening makes it a bit difficult to maneuver things like binders into your bag. If you think you’ll have a light load, maybe a few notebooks, planner, etc., I’d say that the campeggio should suffice.

However, I own three campeggios already and I cannot imagine toting around a heavy textbook inside it. I got my campeggios after the semester ended, so I’ve yet to carry them around with “school stuff” in them. That’s why I’ve preordered the cucciolo.

You could go to a local store -if you’ve got any in your area – that carries Tokidoki bags to see how it’ll look. Or you could go to The Purse Forum website. There’s a Tokidoki bag reference thread there with comparison pictures, and if I remember correctly, Stephie [aka bubblesung] posted a picture of a campeggio vs. a cucciolo.

Good luck with your decision and with the upcoming school year. :)

I’ve managed to get my hands on a rare Coca Cola Tokidoki Bollicina Trexi and I will like to share my joy with the readers here at the tokidoki blog. You can see the pics at my blog http://starznova-myownspace.blogspot.com.

  16. dangster says:

Karmaloop has started selling Tuttis on their website (6 styles currently). The new Aventura (sp?) is huge!

  17. Brie says:

    Thank You Keisha & Elisabetta.

I went to The Purse Fourm and there was some really great comparasions. Luckly I am near by a Nordstroms and Macys so I can take another trip to try out the bags. If I ever get the cucciolo I could use the changing mat as a sitting mat so wont get my pants dirty cause I eat at the grss area at my school.

Plus since I walk to school before and after. I am going to be carrying some books with my light ones in bag and have ones in the arm.

Thank you soo much ladies right now I am going to think really hard and have a dad’s opinion on which bg I should get cause if I was getting a Juicy bag for school it would have less space but if I get a cucciolo I get more space for the same price.

Hi Sharon I am to from the Bay Area as well . (From the San Jose ) How is the selection at Tobi ? On the Purse Forum someone posted a shop located in Downtown San Jose that sells tokidoki as well I might go to, I believe it’s called Pure . And there’s always Valley Fair . I love the print as well soooooo CUTE ! And as Brie has said there is also a great photo on the Photobucket web-site of the Vacanze Print.

  22. Brie says:

I found some full swatched of Tranporto and Famaliga that I found on photobucket. I was going to post them here but I think Stephanie should do the news. Which I hope I can email her today with the swatches.

  23. Sharon says:

Veronica…Tobi has lots of Tokidoki. You can check out their web site but they are a bit slow getting pics of new patterns posted. I love it that they have live help at their site. I chat often asking what new Tokis they have..way fun!! You could ask where the store is located.

    Take care…
