- The 10 positive feedback for selling real tokidoki items must span a minimum period of 2 months. This means that if today is January 1st, the 10 positive feedbacks for selling authentic tokidoki items must date back to at least November 1st. Evidence of these sales must be currently visible within the seller’s eBay feedback.

Joan, only the second item was still viewable. I have a Carezza so I took mine out to compare it with the photos. If that is the exact bag the person is selling, then it appears to be authentic. You’ll need to have them guarantee that the photos they are showing is the actual bag that you will be getting.
As for my post about no-haggle-plz!, I ended up getting a bag from her and it was authentic. I also contacted Tokidoki and they verified it based on the photos I took.
Thank you tamale chica! That seller originally had 10 for sale and each buyer got their choice. If you scroll down the page a little further, you will see the remining two and more detailed pics. I went with Bag #2. I love the print placement on it! I can’t wait to get it!
Oh and thank you for confirming that no-haggle-plz is a legit seller. I’ve been eyeing a few of her bags and her prices are usually $30-$50 cheaper than other sellers. I didn’t want to buy from her until somebody confirmed that she was legitimate.
Joanne, Just make sure that she absolutely assures you that the bag she is selling is the one in the photo. I’d also print the photos, so that if the bag is not the same one you can ask for a refund. If there is a gross misrepresentation, then usually you can get your money back without a problem. The riri M6 on the inside part of the zipper is generally your indicator of whether the bag is authentic or not.
When I buy from Ebay buyers, the other sellers I’ve dealt with with no problem were 73papasmurfs, bunnytoki, sweetsugarplumfairy773 and panel_cltr. Sweetsugarplumfairy is a friend of a friend of mine, and I know she’s trying to change up her Tokidoki inventory, so she’s been selling off a lot of her bags from 2009 and 2008. When she can, she offers photos of the original tags on her used bags and includes them when you buy a used bag.
73papasmurfs I think only sells new bags.

Sweetsugarplumfairy773 is more of a private collector and she doesn’t have a store like the big sellers do, but she does have some bags that I covet.
One of them is her Zucca Vacanze – it’s sooo adorable and I’ve been wanting to buy it but it’s one of her favorite bags that she says she uses a lot.
I have the Zucca Spiaggia, too, so I took mine out and looked at it to compare to the photos in that url you posted. I’ve never dealt with that buyer so I have no idea, but she/he is in Hong Kong you might also ask how long it will take to ship to the USA.
The one thing I always look for is representation of the Riri zipper, and I didn’t see any descriptive reference or photo of it. If you are serious about buying, ask them to post a photo of the zipper to prove it is Riri.
I did a search on Tokidoki Zucca and there are quite a few of them. You might also message some of the sellers like 73papasmurfs and ask them if they have the bag. The one in the photo is used, and the price seems kind of high to me for a used bag even if all the pieces (carbiner, qee, etc) are there. This might be part of why the price is high, since it is embedded in the cost of the bag and it has to cover international shipping.

I love the pp of the one from cozy-little-shop and panel-cltr. These are the only two on eBay right now but the prices are high and don’t include shipping which will be $30 to $35 since I’m considered international. That’s why I’m contemplating putting in an offer for the used one but not without additional pics and of course I rather be cautious too. I don’t want to get a fake. I’ll message 73papasmurfs to find out if they have it too.

Since it is a used Zucca, and he or she is set up to do so, you can make an offer. I did that when I bought my 2nd Ciao Ciao and the seller accepted. The CC was new, but the original asking price was far more than I wanted to pay.
With the kind of money some of these sellers want, I agree, you can’t be too cautious. If you take enough precautions and have proof that you didn’t get what was represented, there’s a better chance at getting your money back but still, who wants the hassle.
I really do love the Vacanza! I have a few bags of that print, plus 2 wallets (different print placement on each one). I also like the Carezza, which looks like the Vacanza but it’s a little wider.

That is a tough call. Though I see no signs of forgery, counterfeits have become EXTREMELY convincing and hard to tell apart.
Some suspicious signs: 1.This seller has an IMMENSE amount of these bag NWT. These are bags that were made 2-4 years ago so the fact that they have some sort of ‘pipeline’ of New with Tag dead stock tokidoki seems highly unlikely. 2. Why so many blurry photos? And why always on the important photos? 3. I am almost sure I reported these guys to ebay a few weeks ago when they listed all gioco style bags with different prints ALL new with Tags. That is next to impossible.
I would say get the opinion of blog Admin or other serious collectors. ALWAYS ask the seller to send more pics/ more detailed pics of bag to your email address.

Loobyluu – From what I can tell with the horrible photos, both bags look real. Looking through some of that seller’s Sold items in her feedback, they are also real.
Yanique – Fakes of tokidoki bags made in 2008 or later are extremely rare, and extremely obvious. The items in your first and third links are real. The 2nd link is using a teeny tiny stock photo, rather than photos of the actual bag for sale. I suggest asking the seller for photos of the actual bag for sale for that one.
Hi lobbyluu I have bought a very rare and sought after Foresta Zucca from usaconnexions. It was brand new with all tags attached with a sealed qee attached as advertised by usaconnexions. I of course paid over retail for it ($ 306.00!). But it was my Tokidoki “Holy Grail of collecting”. So I didn’t mind going over budget!
Emma I have to say I know other people who have bought items from usaconnexions and have had no problem the bags came as advertised as well. You can see my feedback for the Foresta Zucca. I do not know where they got all these BNWT Tokidoki bags but they are authenic and they have sold many! I emailed them myself before I bid on my beloved Foresta Zucca and they confirmed that all the bags they sell have the “riri M6 ” zipper and when I got my bag it was BNWT and as described too.
I work in the clothing industry locally and go to clothing production shows. These factories can reproduce ANYTHING. They also have had over 3 years to get it right. I wouldn’t put it past them to make ‘replica’ bags. There is a whole industry of them. My bf gave me a lv one one time when we had less money, it was next to identical. I don’t want to make everyone paranoid but you are not giving the factories enough credit. Do you really think it’s hard for them to make a zipper stamped with riri? They will do anything for the prices these bags go for. Just be careful.
Well with my Tokidoki collection nearing in the TRIPLE digits and being a collector of Tokidoki since the very start of the line in 2006 I think I can spot a fake (even a good one with no problem!) I own several pieces in Foresta and the bag is indeed real. The rivits, zipper head, the fabric, the tag from the manufactor, the leather bits on the bag, the print colors, everything is exactly as it should be.
Many of the older Tokidoki For LeSportSac bags are being reproduced that is true so fakes abound and everyone should use caution and good judgement and do their research before buying any bag from E-Bay. But again I am VERY happy to be adding this rare jewel to my Tokidoki For LeSportSac collection!

yes, it’s real. It was one of the least popular of the newer print. Saw it on clearance countless places. The keychains that come with it usually sell for 20.00 or so by themselves.

Brooke and everyone- just so you know the ‘bid on it immediately’ philosophy is the reason the prices go so high. UNLESS you are the first bidder, there’s no rush. Most likely the first person got in the price you want, and if not, the bag/wallet/tokidoki thing you have to have is not going anywhere! All you are doing is pushing up the price more than if you waited for the final day. Yes, someone can get the price range you want, but if you bid too early and/or outbid original bidder you just make them want to bid higher than if you leave the bid alone for the next few days. Of course it takes the knowledge of many, as one silly bidder can start the bidding ‘war’ earlier than necessary.
