Names & Photos of the tokidoki Characters

Since this has been a much-requested post, I am going to attempt to get together a guide to the named tokidoki characters. Below are the characters that I can think of, with help from commenters – comment with any more tokidoki characters that I might be missing. If you have any better photos of any of these characters, please e-mail them to me! Reader EM sent in some Skeletrino pics yesterday (thanks, EM!). :)

UPDATE on 9-19-2009: Also see the new Characters page on the tokidok.it website for more tokidoki character names!

Great additions, I am adding them to the list now. How could I forget the spiny cat, he’s my favorite!! His official name is “Gato Spinoso.” And I will count both the Latte and Stawberry Latte.

Thi – thanks for the link, that is better Carnivora picture – I just replaced the old one with it. :) I’ll see what else I can use from there too. And yes, Samba and Cloudia need to be added to the list!

How about the rest of the moofia? Leche, Soya… And the others that don’t have the most colorful names, like Low Fat 2%, Baby Bottle, Japanese Milk.

Nice list. But I’ve always seen the peach, which you listed as Momo Peach, listed as Momobella.

Kristina – are the other Moofia minions’ names “official” names or just descriptions of the characters? I wasn’t sure about that, and I threw away my Moofia boxes, so I can’t check.

Tammy – Diavolina is already on the list – I don’t think that poison mushroom or koi fish are official names, I think they are descriptions of those characters (although I could be wrong – anyone else know?).

Just FYI – you’re right, I will correct that!

I know that this isn’t an official name, but my BF (while looking at my inferno ciao ciao) said that the candle with the blue flame head should be named Propane. I laughed my head of because it was one of those “it’s funny cause it’s true” moments.

    How about Roast?

    And Tsuru?

Pink hair girl? lol There are sooo many characters. I even thought about the little Roast looking one but has hair and an iPod.

  17. admin says:

Emily – that name does seem appropriate. :)

Thi – thanks! I felt a compulsive need to Photoshop all of the backgrounds to be white.

Is Roast the actual name of the character? Argh, I don’t know! And Tsuru refers to the cranes rather than to the girl, so I’m thinking that’s not an official name either.

Now I’m wondering if I should make another post for the non-officially named characters… but collecting images of all of them would be a pretty massive project.

Tina – I have been wondering about that too. Both the red and the yellow chili appear on the Adios Star print, so I’m not sure. It’s possible they have the same name though because Cloudia sometimes has blue hair instead of pink.

The moofia characters don’t have their names on the boxes (I checked last night), so I’m going off the names that appear on the figures themselves: Leche, Soya and Choco. The Japanese Milk and Lowfat 2% Fat Too, but those names are so boring!

Kristina – I added Choco and Soya, and Leche. Since their names are written right on them, I think they count as names.

kathy – I don’t think cell phone guy has a name.

tokimagic – as far as I know, the rainbow doesn’t have a name either, but I do love that character too!

Does “Rondine” mean anything in Italian? Even if it does, it is possible that is the name of the blue bird with the bullet. It is listed as that for the necklace on the web site:

Rondine means “swallow” in Italian, so unfortunately I don’t think that is a name.
