Latest Additions to my tokidoki Collection: Trasporto Goodies!
I adore my new Trasporto bags, so I thought I would share pictures of the latest additions to my collection.
My favorite characters are the school bus and the Sandy balloon - can you tell? The more I look at this print, the more cute characters I discover and start liking too. I got the Bambinone and Campeggio from Karmaloop and the denaro from LeSportsac.

o_O I wanttt!!! haha, this print is cute

Darn, no schoolbus!
September 26th, 2007 at 4:39 pm
Adele - I know, I was bummed about that. I think I can learn to love the denaro I got though, or maybe I can trade it at some point.

I love Trasporto! I’ve got the Denaro too (love the design on yours - Dino girl, unicycle and iceskaters!!!) My boss is coming back from Singapore this morning and got the Buon Viaggio for me…I can’t wait to see the design. Man, this addiction is making me poor!

PS. I don’t think I’ve posted here before. Hello! Your blog is wonderful and very helpful!
September 26th, 2007 at 5:11 pm
Hi FragrantElf, and thanks! I hope you love your Buon Viaggio - it fits the whole print, so you should.
September 26th, 2007 at 5:15 pm
Hi Stephanie! Can you tell me, in terms of a good messenger bag that can be slung across the body, would you suggest a Corriere or a Campeggio?
September 26th, 2007 at 5:19 pm
Or is there a better style than those two?
September 26th, 2007 at 5:20 pm
He just got in and gave it to me…gahhhh, I DO love it! Perfect placement!
September 26th, 2007 at 5:28 pm
Kelly - The Corriere is a cross between a backpack and a large fanny pack, IMO. The tokidoki version of the cross-body messenger bag is the Ciao Ciao. I also wear my Campeggios as cross-body messengers too though. The Campeggio is the easier bag to get into of the two.
FragrantElf - awesome, glad to hear it!
September 26th, 2007 at 5:33 pm
Yeah, I stared at the Ciao Ciaos for a long time and decided I would hate having to flip the top and unzip everytime I need something. So the Campeggios have a good long strap?
September 26th, 2007 at 6:06 pm
The Campeggio strap is at least several inches shorter than the Ciao Ciao strap, but it’s still a good length.

Hey, I have a suggestion for the blog archive - I know I’d find it uber helpful to see the bags on - it will help to know what I’m getting. It may be too much hassle to bother
September 26th, 2007 at 7:09 pm
Great idea Kelly! I usually look around on other websites
but having them on here would be SUPER!
September 26th, 2007 at 9:22 pm
I got a transporto stellina the other day (my first toki!) and I LOVE it. It’s such a cute print! Yours are lovely.
September 26th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
Kelly - The Ciao Ciao strap can be moved to the top of the bag so that the bag doesn’t fold over (eh, I hope that makes sense). I have two Ciaos and do that sometimes to fit more stuff in the bag. May be worth reconsidering because the Ciao and the Ciao Ciao are both awesomely versatile bags.
Mmm… I am liking Trasporto more and more every time I see it!
September 26th, 2007 at 9:39 pm
Your denaro has such cute characters! I love the bat and the dinosaur.
September 26th, 2007 at 11:57 pm

question on the karmaloop site…the bags u bought weren’t on the site….is this somthing u would call for because i wanna get another one such as the zucca
September 27th, 2007 at 8:19 am
Kelly and Christine Dior - Good idea! I usually go digging around on other sites too, but sometimes takes forever to find what I am taking for. When I get the time I will work on adding a bag reference page.
Lisa - Thanks!
Yenni - They are sold out of the bags that I bought, but they still have the Scuola, Ciao Ciao, Canguro, and Luna left in Trasporto.

At lease you got two different sides, instead of matching ones. That’s hard to get with Trasporto! Also I checked LSS and it looks like you may have gotten the last of the Tras Denaros.
The dino girl, Unicycle bat, and pogo stick kangaroo are all really cute. And look at how many different things are going on in that small space. Trust me, your Denaro will grow on you.
September 27th, 2007 at 11:58 am
Adele - you’re right, I am happy that both sides are different. Many of the Trasporto denaros that I have seen have almost the same print on both sides. And I do like that the characters that I got are small enough that a whole bunch of them fit.

The Macy’s website just got new Trasporto (and Tutti) bags.
I am liking Trasporto more and more
September 27th, 2007 at 12:35 pm
Aw. I love this new bag. Saving up my money to buy myself one, I love the adios qee with it.
September 27th, 2007 at 2:18 pm
Those are very nice bags. It’s funny, I was ambivalent about this print at first and now I have a Dolce, Stellina and Porta in it. Once I saw it in person I changed my tune. Go figure!

FYI, partial schoolbus on Tras Denaro FS on shoptoki right now! Check it out, admin.
September 27th, 2007 at 4:40 pm
that was soooooooooooooooooo cute, and I’m still waiting for the Vacanze…
September 27th, 2007 at 5:15 pm
The Denaro is so cute! I was contemplating getting a bag of the Trasporto, but it didn’t catch my fancy. I saw the Amore and LOVED it as a swatch, but I didn’t care for it on a bag. Really weird since that print is so cute. Well, here’s hoping Vacanze is SUPER cute to me in person, lol.

So cute…I can’t wait for miiiine!

Thanks everyone!
Adele - I saw the denaro that you mentioned, but I don’t love the placement enough to buy a second one and then sell mine. I will probably just hang onto the one that I have unless something with my perfect placement comes along.
Maggie - I mailed your bag out today, let me know when it arrives! I’m sure you will love it, it’s totally cute.
September 27th, 2007 at 6:19 pm
OMG! I love Trasporto so much.
September 28th, 2007 at 12:46 am
my order from pulse was not accepted Singapore is a region that they cannot sell to…..SOB……..:(
September 28th, 2007 at 8:26 am
starz_nova - have you tried ordering from Karmaloop or Tobi instead?
September 28th, 2007 at 7:14 pm
Omg they looook sooo nice! I went to macy’s when I was in New York City and got myself a zucca bag! I am so happy with it. Now seening your bags, I think I should have went ahead and brought a smaller bag like Bambino. Ahh I went back to macy’s for a couple days ago and most of them were sold out!!!
September 28th, 2007 at 9:41 pm
J’adore your campeggino, bambinone, and denaro! I saw them at macys and was tempted to get a campeggino but I wanted to save my money for designer bag (trying to learn how to budget money). But I will manage to get at least a denaro in transporto.

I have that intent to buy from karmaloop or tobi but they do not have the style of bag that i want… so i guess have to wait for a while.

Need some advice..Buying my little sister who lives in Hawaii ..age 11 .a campeggio bag- Should I purchase the lamore or trasporto? I ‘m not familliar with these bags at all…I think they’re are both cute..Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!

Jen - Campeggios are very big bags, maybe too big for an 11-year-old depending on her size. As for print, L’Amore gets dirty a lot easier than Trasporto.
