Reader Heather wrote to let me know that Simone’s signing appearance will take place on November 17th at the LeSportsac store in Ala Moana Center, Hawaii, from 11am-4pm. (Thanks also to djr0658 for confirming this date, and to the commenters for confirming the time.) The SA that she spoke to said that Vacanze should be released on the same day as the signing, and the Foresta re-release will be the day after.* Hawaii fans should expect a very long line for the signing, since people started lining up by 8 or 9am for the last one. Get there early and have fun!
*UPDATE: The SA’s info was slightly off - Vacanze was released November 12th in Hawaii and the Foresta re-release was November 13th.

OH WOWEEE!! I am arriving in Hawaii on November 16th and staying not far from the Ala Moana Mall!! I cannot believe the timing . . . is . . . PERFECT! I haven’t been to a signing before, bear with my “dumb” questions please. Will he only sign one bag per person or more than that? How many do you all typically take? I am certainly not toting all my Toki’s to Hawaii but what do you think is best to have signed? Small bags? Big bags? Certain prints over others? (I have one of most prints) I would love to have him COLOR my Tutti Stellina or Dolce! Sorry for rambling on but this is such great news!
Shell – Simone is real super cool & nice. My hub, girls & I met him and his girlfriend at the Nordstrom in South Coast Plaza in Irvine. Every person he met, he took his time to do draw what they wanted & where they wanted (bags, clothes, decks, etc). He pretty much asks you what you want drawn or whatever and just let him know =) I’m from San Diego & missed him at the Comic Con because we were in Hawaii =( but am anticipating for him to come back next year so I can def see him & buy the loads of Tokidoki stuff I haven’t gotten yet! Have fun!

Shell – I was at the signing here in Hawaii, he was able to sign at least 3 items for us whether it was magazine pictures or bags [big or small] and also our toys!! YAY! Can’t wait to see him this NOV =)

I’m pretty sure if the new Vacanze comes out on the 17th of nov it’s going to pretty expensive…esp. since ala moana lesportsac the prices are much higher then any where else
I just spoke to an Ala Moana SA, and she said they are hoping to get the Vacanze print in before the 17th. Last week, the SA I spoke to said they were expecting Vacanze in by the end of this week, so I’m thinking it will be in the store before Simone comes. Also, she said he will be signing from 11-4. I hope that’s true. 1-4 is such a short time and I don’t think I could wait until 1p.m. on that day anyway!
the last time when he came down to hawaii I don’t remember it being that long…sounds correct the 1-4pm…
so is Foresta only going to be in Hawaii and the south pacific as mentioned before? Because I’m really wanting one of those bags >
btw, I stopped by the Lesportsac Ala Moana store today and they have the flyers for Simone’s appearance. It is 11 am – 4pm. I know it was only 1-4 last time, but I think he was there til like 6:30 because it was so busy.
