More Photos from tokidoki at Yoyamart + tokidoki Plush Updates
Reader Diana took some cellphone photos of the plush toys at the tokidoki signing at Yoyamart - as you will see, the Mozzarella plush doll, which was originally due to be released back in February, has resurfaced. The Mozzarella plush is now slated to be released in early November, and, if Vinyl Splatter’s dates are accurate, the long-lost Sandy plush doll should also be released at the end of this month!

those autographs from simon look so super cute and actually accent the stuff he’s signing, an artist at heart indeed. does anyone know where to pick up these plush tokidoki characters?

The plushes haven’t been released yet, but when they are, the store that I linked to in this post is obviously going to be carrying them, I assume along with the usual suspects like Panik’s Toy Box, Kidrobot, etc.

hi! i read this blog religiously but i never commented before… but when i saw your pics from the yoyamart signing, i saw part of my head and based on the position of the photographs, i’m pretty sure i was the person standing in front of you! ahh!
i was a long night, and i think simone was really tired when he signed my bag:

This is off topic, but yesterday at the mall I stopped by a store that carries TokiDoki, and I talked to the manager about the possibility of LeSportsac re-releasing some prints….. she told me the first print that they are going to re-release is Spiaggia. She said she already placed in her order for it.
I was quite surprised. Was Spiaggia even THAT popular? I tried to pry and get some more information but she wouldn’t say too much.
I also physically spoke to a LeSportsac rep who told me that they are going to release some LeSportsac prints in the Zucca and some of the other popular TokiDoki shaped bags.

Bridget - Aaahh, I got another reader back-of-head photo! Next time I’ll have to try to get more angles or something.
And yeah, it looks like he may have been a little tired at that point, but hey you got a signature! I wasn’t up to the 4 hour wait in line, but hopefully there will be a next time so that I can get there EARLY.
Serita - What city are you hearing this in?! Like you, I find it very hard to believe that Spiaggia of all prints would be re-released, it was one of the least popular prints. That’s very odd…

Yeah, I was really ‘what the heck’ish’ when she told me about the Spiaggia re-release.
And I realize now that what I mentioned above some confusing.
LeSportsac are going to release their OWN prints in the shape of some of the TokiDoki styled bags.

Ok, I meant to ask that - if what you meant was that LeSportsac was going to release some of their own prints in styles like the Zucca, etc - that makes sense to me that they would do that. I’m thinking the Spiaggia woman might have been confused though.

awesome! I can’t wait to see those plushes out, since all look pretty cute. I hope it comes to Canada though, we’re always a bit delayed. =P But i’m happy to see that tokidoki is spreading like peanut butter. =P

Hey again,
I had doubts too about what the manager was saying, but she insisted it was the Spiaggia pattern. She grabbed one off the shelf and said that it was ‘This One’… which was Spiaggia.
Talk about disappointment. I tried to pry about Foresta and Playground but she didn’t say if they were going to get released or not.
