is there a tiny polpettina plush in one of those glass cases as well?? i thought i’d gotten rid of all of my dang hello kitty plushes, but i guess now i need a new one. from what i recall, kitty-chan dressed up as pretty much anything (zodiac characters, animals, traditional asian clothing, etc etc) is always incredibly popular in japan.

Sharon – the bags are slated to be released in Japan only, which hopefully won’t apply to the toys as well.
stephanie – it’s hard to tell what that tiny Polpettina is – a bag charm, maybe? Although it would make sense that if there is a Bastardino plush toy that there is a Polpettina plush too, so maybe!
adele – i didn’t notice it at first, but yes, there is a picture frame in there!
Do you know if this is a really limited run? I may be in Japan next year so it would be neat to see them in person if they’re still around.
I actually like everything from the 1st picture. And in the 2nd picture I like the bag in the middle. Still not sure about the gold.

This is disappointing. There was so much potential here, but just slapping the suit on hello kitty is a cop-out.
