yes, i just called them. they said they cannot help with print placement. the order just goes through and the bags are sent directly out from warehouse.

I just called Lesportsac store in Las Vegas and the woman who answered the phone told me that Vacanze bags do not accept the luckybreak6 code, so whoever ordered the bags using the code on the web site, when the company processes the order, the code will be denied, the woman said, so you will not get any discount… Is that true? I tried to order my bags on their website, and the screen shows that the total price is 25%off of original price. I’m confused, but I’m guessing the woman is right. I don’t think that Lesportsac will accept 25% off for their new Vacanze print. What do you think?

I just ordered 2 bags for my mom and I with the 25% off. Paid for it and the order went through and everything. I hope if they take away my discount, they at least call or email to notify me before shipping to me. I’ll come back here to tell if that happens.

I would think that would be extremely unfair since people are buying under the impression they’ll get the 25% off. It’d be pretty bad customer service to go back on the price. If that is the case though, I think they’d at least offer the chance to cancel an order if they decide to retract the discount.

when i placed an order a couple of weeks ago i tried to use two codes… (i knew it wouldn’t work) and next to the second code on my invoice it said “code declined” so i’m sure that if the code isn’t supposed to work it wouldn’t go through as “accepted”

Usually the Lucky codes work for about 2 months. For instance, if you get a Lucky Breaks code for a merchant in the October issue of Lucky, it will be good from the time you get the issue ’til the end of November. Lucky has a disclaimer in the mag telling you when the Lucky Breaks in that issue expire. Does anyone have the actual issue this was published in?
Anyway, hopefully LeSportsac won’t exhaust the goodwill of its customers and recall the code. That would be kind of evil. Also, I want my discounted Denaro, dammit!

does anyone know if i can still get some more Tutti print bags by calling the website-order number? the ones i want to get didn’t say “sold out” when they were still on the site yesterday. so yes they aren’t sold out, but no they aren’t on the site anymore. anyone been in this situation? :O

I’ve got the Lucky issue where the code appears. It’s the issue with Keri Russell on the front cover, the November 2007 issue. It says on the Lucky breaks page 269 that offers are valid from October 3, 2007 through December 3 2007. That’s why I kept believing that the code would work for this collection even though many SAs insisted that it wouldn’t.

After what Kim says, I’m totally going with her as far as the code being valid until the proposed due date of December 3. Honestly, as much as I like the brand LeSportSac, customer service is very mixed, and to be cynical about it, the SAs for LeSportSac do work for the company and want it to make as much money as possible, which may be a reason in discouraging customers from using these codes.

I was actually thinking that if LSS recalls the discount code after it already went through, that’s kind of a “bait-and-switch” tactic. Not cool, but I wonder if it’s also not legal?

Yeah I know! The ciao, denaro stellina and the zucca is already gone - I already have a BV and a Cuccolio but I don’t care - at such a great price I would be sorry not to get another Campeggio!
Aye - if only I was able to get the zucca too - I hesitated and went to work - and then I came home and its gone! yikes!

I’m glad I placed my order when I first noticed they had the new print up. I actually ordered a couple in the styles I wanted (denaro, zucca, and nuvola) so that I could choose my favorite print placement and send the others back. I’m so picky.
