Photos from the Hawaii Simone Signing Yesterday
ChristineDior and Sara both sent in pictures and reports from the tokidoki Simone signing at the Ala Moana Center in Hawaii yesterday, and it sounds like it was nuts!
ChristineDior waited on line for 8 hours(!) to meet Simone, and thought it was worth the wait. 
She asked him to autograph her Mozzarella toy and a photo from a previous signing, and Simone actually remembered her because he recognized the Hello Kitty necklace Christine was wearing in the photo that Simone autographed for her. Awww! Here are her photos:
Sara was third in line for the signing - she got there at about 6am. She said that Simone started signing right on time at 11am, and when she left her job the mall at 8pm, Simone was still signing and the line was still out the door! Here are her photos:

wow. that’s so awesome that he was signing autographs at least four hours after the signings were supposed to be over! he looks so friendly.
i wish he’d come do a signing somewhere in texas. boourns.
anywho, i LOVE his hello kitty necklace.
and the snowflakes & christmas tree decorations on the wall are so cute.
i’m so excited about the new hello kitty & onitsuka collaborations.

kula_bear - Yes it is. The Bella style is still available in Hawaii and Guam (so is the Mamma Mia, which is also in the background in that same photo!).

I think maybe they should do a lottery in the future, give out bracelets or something days before the event so that way the people know beforehand who already has a chance without waiting a gazillion hours.
What I overheard the associate say was that the line was cut off at 170 people and that they did a certain headcount and that they wouldn’t turn anyone away but that there wasn’t a guarantee after that cutoff if you would get stuff signed. We did a math calculation and figured that if it was 2-3 minutes per person it would go well over the time they wanted to keep him there which was originally supposed to be 5pm.
