Some Macy’s stores have begun marking their tokidoki Tutti print bags down to 25% off. If you hurry to check your local Macy’s today, you can also stack the Friends and Family discount to get 40% off.

Actually, it’ll *only* be 40% off, not 45%. But better than nothing off!
I hope Transporto is next on the list!
Why will it only be 40% off – where does the extra 5% go?
maggie is right…
say a bag is $100 regular, then 25% off = $75
additional 20% off of $75 = $60
$60 is like 40% off a $100 bag.
I used to work in a department store and it goes like this: Let’s say you have something marked regular price at $100. You apply 25% off so that’s 100 x 0.75 and that equals $75.00 and that’s the new price. Now apply 20% off to the $75 item which is 75×0.8 and that equals $60.00. So from $100 to a final price of $60, that’s a 40% discount. Many thanks for sharing all the info–I love your site and visit often!
Ahh ok – I thought they would give you both discounts combined off the original purchase price. I will edit the OP!
Mmm it makes me sad, my Macy’s (or really any Macy’s in MN) does not carry the tokidoki line =[. Only Bloomingdale’s has tokidoki.
i went to 2 macy’s, but no BV.
Hmmmmmm, maybe that one I saw will go on sale. Very tempting.
if you know someone that works at macys you can get the 25% + the 20% coupon + employee discount lol which i think is 15 to 20% XD.
I don’t think this is happening on the East Coast…my mom checked Queens Center Mall in NY…nothing. But then again she’s not the most observant…any other check NYC Macys…any Tuttis on sale??
I puchased a tutti gioco bag at macys yesterday! 25% plus an additional 30% because that was the extra sale they were offering, and an additional 20% for purchasing it with my macys card. grand total: $160 retail becomes approximately $75
