Fake tokidoki Famiglia Bags Are Here
It seems that the manufacturers of fake tokidoki bags are slowly working their way through all of the prints, and they are now up to Famiglia. I updated my How to Avoid Fake tokidoki Bags on eBay guide today with the latest in fake prints - I debunk a fake Spiaggia “weekender” in #8 (note to tokidoki newbies: there is no such thing as a tokiodoki weekender, in any print), and do a fake vs. real side-by-side comparison of the first fake Famiglia bag to hit eBay in #23. Since there are so many tokidoki Famiglia bags on eBay right now, I just wanted to warn everyone to keep their eyes peeled for fakes if you are doing any bleary-eyed last minute Christmas shopping.

Disgusting! The fake bags, I mean. Have you seen how much people are willing to pay for them sometimes? They just have to add another 20-30 bucks and then they can just get the real thing. Ridiculous.
Thanks for the info on this!!

I feel so bad. I had a bunch of Toki stuff on my wishlist and one of my family members got tricked. I feel so bad, but at least I’ll make a use for it. A makeup bag or art supply bag of some sort!!

I always report fake bags on eBay. I can’t stand to see people pay that much when they can get the real one. I understand it’s THEIR money and preference, but quality could be low and everything.
Thanks for the heads up.

Holy crap, that famigilia could’ve fooled me until I saw the shape of it.
I saw a fake tokidoki a seller wanted $5300 for on ebay a few days ago.

$5300?? wth that’s insane! Thanks for the update!

ChristineDior - Yep. But as I was going to report it, someone else beat me to it. I hate it when people buy the fakes, and then whine about how they fell apart the next day.

i actually wanted a toki travel bag when i was going back to school, but i didnt have the money to buy a $170 bag, so i bought one knowingly at jessicasbizzaregifts on ebay. i got it for about $36 and its held out for half a year, and still going strong. i dont think that fakes are exactly a bad thing, but if they try to overprice you, thats just wrong

@ Margaret: those tokidoki bags are real, they came out under tokidoki before the collaboration with Lesportsac. This site has more of those bags for sell http://www.chicki.co.uk
Hope that helps!

This is just sad! I can’t stand fake bags but someone asking $5300 for a fake is just simply insane!

margaret, grecia - i don’t know if some girl selling these bags on her website means they are real… she is the only one who has these bags, besides the ebay seller. I think these bags are gorgeous, but i am inclined to think they are fake… i think they would be well known & in high demand if they were real tokidoki bags.

The bags that Margaret asked about are indeed real. Those bags were released in Europe only, before the tokidoki for LeSportsac line came out.

Um, I’m sort of new to tokidoki, but my sister has been a fan for awhile. For christmas, she said she wanted a Tokidoki Inferno Nuvola bag, or the Foresta Nuvola bag. I found them both on ebay, are they real?
Inferno Nuvola
Foresta Nuvola
I don’t really know how to tell the difference, and I haven’t been able to find them anywhere else. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Actually, the fakes are all the way to the transporto print. I just came back from Hong Kong and I saw fake transporto and tutti bags. Not that many, but they are available already..
