My Very Toki Christmas

Now that I have finally taken these new goodies off long enough to photograph them - here are some pictures of the tokidoki gifts that I got for Christmas. I love them all!

my tokidoki Christmas loot

I was very excited that my full set of Cactus Pups arrived in record time from Panik’s Toy Box, so I got to open them on Christmas too. :) The sausage with the little face on it is too cute.

What tokidoki did you get for Christmas? (Note that now that we are no longer at Wordpress, you can post photos in the comments now - just use the code:

and remove the *s before posting).

p.s. I have added several new Reader tokidoki Collections in the past two days, check them out. :)

Wowwww you’re so lucky you got those as gifts!! I got chocolates and some gift cards ;p haha Which is cool too cause I get to choose what I want x)

I think I should order the pups from Panik’s toybox too because I bought them individually and got two of the same,,,, haha ;p darn.

The sausage is cute!! lol my fave is of the one that’s sleeping hehehehe :)

  2. Christine Dior Says:

QUESTION!! I see that your new tokidoki bag up there has the new qee, is that another re-print?? OMG OMG OMG OMG If it is, that would be Super!!! I love that print and would love to get more of it hehehe

  3. admin Says:

Spend the gift cards on tokidoki! :D The bag is not a reprint, it just has the qee switched out (since the Adios qee goes so well with the Inferno print!). Rumor has it that the next reprint will be Citta/Citta Rosa sometime next year (still in Hawaii/Guam only).

  4. Christine Dior Says:

WHOAAA what’s with the Hawaii/Guam only? I mean I live in Hawaii but it’s so unfair for others. Bleh… I want Inferno and the Original print ;p x) x) wishful thinking ^__^

  5. tokipoki Says:

haha omg you got some lovely gifts! *jealous* That jacket looks really comfy! ^___^

And omg the citta rosa print?! I WANT TO BE IN HAWAII OR GUAM!! T___T I agree with you Christine! Go inferno and original! Or paradiso!

  6. Janet Says:

omg inferno ciao >:o! i love it!

  7. Sue Says:

For Christmas, my sister bought me a trasporto denaro (it’s my first and only trasporto piece) and I bought her a paradiso mamma mia.

  8. lisa Says:

Stephanie, where did your santa manage to find the ciao in inferno??? i only ask so i can tell my santa where to look for it.

  9. admin Says:

tokipoki - Thanks! The jacket is very comfy. I just wore it out to dinner (with the matching hoodie, with the matching thermal underneath.. hehe!) and it kept me really warm on a cold night. I like that it doesn’t have a hood too so that my hoodies don’t create a double-stacked hood effect. I just wish the length was a little longer.

Janet - Thanks! I am in love with the placement on my new Ciao - and now I have decided that I love the Ciao style too and want more of them. :P

Sue - Awww you and your sister gave each other some great gifts! I gave my brother the tokidoki football t-shirt for his birthday (which was right before Christmas). :)

    lisa - On eBay.

  10. Janet Says:

I only own a AS ciao, I bought it when it was on sale for 65% off at that outlet store :D That was a pretty sweet deal. I love the pizza oven on yours though. My favorite is the pink monster sitting in the swamp XD.

  11. Jenn Says:

The jacket is RIDICULOUS awesome. I always thought the allover print wouldn’t work with me, but it looks great and will be fun to wear around campus!

  12. Krisha Says:

eee! awesome!’ i just got my jacket in the mail yesterday from JapanLA. i got XL (i’m 5′ 7″ with long arms, and I like to layer underneath). i’m not having a problem with the jacket’s length. but the smaller sizes are probably shorter like you’re mentioning. it’s so awesome though :D

with the reprints in Hawaii/Guam, do any stores there take phone orders from US customers??? or is it the same no as when they had a foresta reprint :(

  13. vikitty Says:

I got a pirata bocce with perfect placement in my stocking but I’m selling it. too small!

  14. Arisu Says:

Wow that jacket’s so awesome :D Lucky lucky! I got a little bastardino jr as a stocking stuffer lol

  15. rmx Says:

heads up on the sandy hoodie: either hang it to dry or make sure the temperature setting on your dryer is on low.

i had the dryer on medium when i tossed the hoodie in with the rest of my clothes … polpettina came off =( sandy came halfway off too. the little characters are iron-ons, not sewed on. hopefully using fabric glue would be enough for them to stay put …

  16. Ryane Says:

Since we’re (sort-of) on the subject of TD clothing, does anyone here have experience with the XL’s? I’m a plus-size (18/20 on top) and I am SO scared to buy any of the clothing online (which is really the only place I could get it) because I’m afraid it won’t fit… Any plus size girs in here that can testify to TD’s “fluffy”-friendliness???? THX!

  17. admin Says:

Krisha - Future reprints will be at the same stores as the Foresta reprint was, and I don’t think they were doing phone orders.

RMX - Thanks for the heads up, I will be sure to hang mine to dry only!

Ryane - Unfortunately tokidoki sizing is like Juniors sizing. Their Small is like a size 0, Medium is a 2/4, Large is a 6/8, and XL is a 10/12 - and that’s for a fairly snug fit, I often size up a size for more roominess and length.

  18. Ryane Says:

Thanks! It’s unfortunate that so many designers lose out on sales to women who make up the majority of the nation :/ Why is Torrid the only store that “get’s it?” o_0

Anyway, sorry about the mini-rant, thanks again for the info, I would have been very dissapointed to order a piece of clothing that is so pricey and had it be 10 gajillion sizes too small! Guess I’ll have to stick to the bags and jewelry!

  19. ashley Says:

can we send more pictures to add to our collections?!

  20. admin Says:

Ryane - You’re welcome, and I agree with you. I don’t understand why so many designers don’t just make a full range of numbered sizes either. The hoodie sizes for tokidoki are more roomy than the other clothing (I size down a size for the hoodies) but my guess is that the XL hoodies are a 16 or maybe 16/18 at best.

    ashley - Yes, absolutely!

  21. Peggy Says:

Hi, I just got my full set of Cactus Pups — they are so cute! Did you keep the boxes they came in? Panik’s toybox was quite sloppy with opening the boxes.

  22. admin Says:

I thought about keeping the boxes, but I’m trying to cut down on the unnecessary clutter in my life, so I threw them away. I figure that if I kept them, I would probably never look at them again anyway.
