Stephanie’s tokidoki Tattoo

After seeing my post about Sue’s tokidoki tattoo, reader Stephanie from Chicago sent in a photo of her tokidoki tattoo too – and I love it!

Stephanie got her ink done at Chicago Tattoo Co., and here is what she has to say about it:

“I re-drew the entire drawing myself, which is why it looks a little rough. I like it better for that reason. It’s still tokidoki but a touch of me because I had to edit it to the perfect size and add all of the extra elements. I had originally planned on doing an entirely tokidoki half-sleeve but since then I’ve thrown a couple non-tokidoki tattoos on. I still plan on going through with the original idea though. Tokidoki half-sleeve!”

More European tokidoki Bags + Valentine’s Day Qees

Reader Tara d. recently let me know that she found some additional websites that sell European exclusive tokidoki bags, including the shiny metallic heart & crossbones bag that some of us were wondering about the authenticity of awhile back. Odd World in the UK sold blue and pink versions of the metallic tokidoki bag (which confirms its authenticity – although it is now sold out). Tara has one of the pink metallic bags listed on eBay. MilkSugar out of Germany has a larger selection of European tokidoki bags (many of which are on sale right now). I have also been getting a lot of e-mails about Chicki in the UK recently, so I will give them another mention since they have only been previously posted about in the comments.

Also, for those of you who enjoy collecting unique qees to add to your tokidoki bags (like me!), ambersdad let me know that Panik’s Toy Box just added a limited edition Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Bear qee twin pack that are really cute & just in time for V-day. I’m thinking about getting them for a L’Amore bag.

More New Spring 2008 Clothing

Trendy Stars just posted their selection of Spring II 2008 clothing for men, including a new t-shirt design that we haven’t seen anywhere else yet.

Plus, those of us girls who liked the first batch of Spring 2008 t-shirt designs for guys are in luck – Trendy Stars also added women’s versions of each of those designs, some in multiple color choices, plus one new record t-shirt design. Here are a few highlights:

The New Men’s Spring II Record Hoodie on a Girl :)

Reader Krisha just got the men’s Spring II record hoodie in a size Small, and was nice enough to take photos of how it looks on her to share with us. Personally I love the fit, and now I totally want one too!

Sue’s tokidoki Tattoo

I have been talking to reader Sue from Canada about her first tokidoki tattoo since it was just a concept based on one of the bluebirds from the Playground print (blown up from my Playground Campeggio!) a few months ago:

tokidoki x Hello Kitty Items Hit eBay

As many of you have already noticed, the first wave of tokidoki for Hello Kitty items have already started popping up on eBay. One of the sellers is on my Real tokidoki Sellers list, and the other is a Tokidoki Blog reader in Japan, so I am sure that they are the real thing. This should also mean that the collaboration will be released in the USA very soon – perhaps even sooner than we have been expecting.

Also, the Italian eBay seller who keeps listing European exclusive tokidoki clothing has a red tokidoki cammo hoodie for men and an open-backed LP record shirt for women listed. Italy gets some really cool designs!

Spring II 2008 Collection for Men Released

JapanLA just let me know that they got their shipment of Spring II tokidoki 2008 clothing for men in – they added 4 new hoodies and 5 new t-shirts to their online shop. The new hoodies include an all-over LP record print that is similar to, but not exactly the same as, the one that Simone has been wearing recently:

And here are a few highlights of the other items – I think that the designs and colors are quite different from what we would usually expect from tokidoki.

New 2008 tokidoki Watch & New Era Hats for Girls

More new tokidoki items have surfaced! Trendy Stars has a new black & gold version of the LA Guns/Bullets watch up.

It retails for $145, and is replacing the brown and silver version of this watch, which is now discontinued. Trendy Stars has the red momobella watch and the brown nurse watch on sale for $99 each too.

Ashley also pointed out to me that the tokidoki.it store just added two cute New Era hats for girls. They are $35 each.
