Still More European tokidoki Gear Uncovered
Readers Lashonne and Jess discovered another Italian store that sells tokidoki items that are not available in the USA - and this shop does allow you to order online. Sadly though, the prices are pretty killer when you factor in the exchange rate. They sell another style of tokidoki underwear, the tokidoki flip-flops that I blogged about last spring, and more clothing items (including the all-over print hoodie from the post below!). Here are a few highlights:

Lashonne also found this bag on an Italian site called Yoox:

I am wondering if it is the same style of tote bag that readers spotted Simone’s girlfriend carrying at the Simone signing party at Mobius last month.

Cute hoodies and tote bag! ^^ Not too sure about the jacket though, looks kinda plain.

I love the hoodies.

They were really nice about choosing the most economical method of s/h for me when I bought their flip flops last summer. Though I agree the prices for those hoodies sans shipping are pretty killer, especially when they’re most likely made in China anyway.

Unfortunately the shipping costs that they list on their site are killer as well - 40EU (which is about $60) to ship to the USA! Or if you e-mail them, will they quote you something cheaper?

eek that jacket is kinda @_@!

MY WALLET NOOOOOOOOO.
i was dying for a hoodie like in the 2nd picture. and praying one of these darn italian sites would ship to the USA. looks like i got my wish.

a serious question (though i hope i don’t sound stupid):
do you think this is authentic?
http://www.yoox.com/item.asp?cod10=45026566&TP=11227
it’s the only tokidoki item the site has. thought i’d ask before ordering

That bag is cute, and for only $30.00 plus shipping, I’d definitely get that!

That is such a cute tote!! Does it say how big because I can’t find the measurements T_T..
I love the jacket even if it’s simple colors. It would contrast with the colorful bag!
Italy.. T___T soo farr awayyyy

If I recall correctly, the tote bag Simone’s girlfriend had looked rather different from the one here. It was more colorful, and kind of shiny. I wish I had taken a picture.

Krisha - The tote bag is definitely real - check the newest post on this blog, a reader 100% confirmed it.
tokipoki - I don’t know the tote’s measurements, but if you ask Tara in the post that I just made about the tote that she owns, she might be able to tell you.
Yenni - That Web site is the only online store that I know of that is selling the flip flops.
Crystal - Did the tote have an all-over print of tokidoki characters - and was it a new print, or a print that we have seen before?

Hey, Steph (and Crystal) Yes, we both regret not taking a photo. I think we were all hot and tired from standing in line so long. Anyway, it looked like the shiny shopping bags from Trader Joes. Large, wide and shiny. It didn’t have prints all over it really, um, more like a scene or a scenery like image. hard to explain but it was super cute.

It was a print we had never seen before. I recall some of the favorite Tokidoki characters on it. (ie. Bastardino was definitely on it) It was not all over like the tote bag in this particular post at all.
It’s more or less what Mickey above me says it was. (Also, Mickey… you wouldn’t happen to be the person who was in line in front of me at the Mobius signing, were you?– I recall a nice girl who handed everyone those postcards that had some tokidoki designs on it being called Mickey…)

Crystal: Yep, that was me! I am glad we got them because they were the last one.
Steph: I hope to see the bag again maybe at another signing. It was very cute. The bag was super shiny made for shopping like at a farmers market or just toting your stuff around. (p.s.: I have a duplicate postcard if you would like it!)

wowwwww OMFG that is awesome!
January 8th, 2008 at 5:31 pm
Mickey - Ooh, I would love an extra postcard!
And I know the type of tote that you are talking about now. That sounds cool to me - I was hoping that the next generation of tokidoki bags wouldn’t have any leather bits on them.

Steph-send me your address via email, k? I hope that bag does get mass produced. It could help us all to be more “green” and “earth friendly”.
