Photo of a Reader’s European tokidoki Tote (Plus a Rare Signed T-Shirt)
Reader Tara from Hawaii just sent me a photo of her European tokidoki tote bag - which she had signed by Simone at the Ala Moana Center Singing Party in Hawaii in November. The bag is definitely real, and Simone even commented to her on it being a rare item.

Tara also sent in a photo of a rare Spring 2005 tokidoki t-shirt that she had signed by Simone. I love the extra sushi character that he added!

Tara - where did you find this shirt?

Actually the T-shirt was purchased between 2003-2004 from a store here in Hawaii called Sonia Daniel House of Style @ Ward Centers. At the time I only purchased it for the sushi print. That is where the ownder ‘educated’ me on Simone. He knew at the time in the near future he would sign with a well-known bag maker but didn’t know with whom. So when I saw the 1st bag at Lesportsac in 2005 I already had known his work and was shocked to find out it was Lesportsac!!! At the time I paid approx. $40.00 plus. Maybe one day I will even get it framed. Now I own the dog tag too.

Sonia Daniel!
I always pass that place, I didn’t know they carried tokidoki.
Next time, I’ll take a better look. :]
Thanks for the heads up!
Btw Tara, Have you seen that new store, on the corner by the food places in Ward Warehouse? I think it’s called, “The Place.” A friend of mine mentioned that she’s seen tokidoki stuff in there too. :]

Indeed! I remember seeing this at the signing
and yess tokidoki is showing up at alot more stores now

Mandie- The Place is a terrible place to buy tokidoki. It’s WAY overpriced, like a Nero necklace was selling for $45 and pin packs were $15.

I agree with Kathy! “The Place” is not a place where I shop or can afford. I think I saw a Black Braceletto for $95.00! I am not too keen on my prices but I thought it was expensive. As far as the store…Sonia Daniel I don’t think they carry any Tokidoki’s anymore since it was so long time ago BUT if anyone sees one in his shop that is great!!
