Limited Edition tokidoki Raincoats and Spring 2008 Clothing
Exciting news: other stores besides Metropark are getting the tokidoki raincoats in! Tobi and The Giant Peach will be adding them very soon, and I also spotted 3 priced fairly on eBay.
I also see that The Giant Peach is in the process of posting their shipment of Spring 2008 clothing - here are two super-cute new hoodies that are up so far:

Yes - the raincoats all have limited edition numbers. Each store is only getting a handful of them. There is also still a LOT more Valentine’s Day/Spring 2008 tokidoki clothing to come! I’m excited.

I LOVE the second gray hoodie!
I’m more of a plain girl when it comes to clothes, so it’s just perfect for me!
I especially love the button bib front/back, it makes the hoodie not TOO plain.
I hope they come out with more clothes like this!

What is the sizing on the new hoodies. I know that traditionally the Toki women’s t-shirts were sized really small. Like an XL is a women’s size 8. I’m like a 14-16 and bigger on top… I need an actual XL. Anyone know how the new hoodies are sized????

queenlouis - tokidoki hoodies run true to size IMO (unlike the t-shirts, which run small ala designer sizing). I’m a size 4, and I like to wear a Large in the t-shirts, but I always take a Small in the hoodies.
tokipoki - The raincoats are indeed limited edition. There were only 600 of them made, and each of them has a “# of 600″ tag inside. Each store only got a handful of them. The rest of the clothing is all regular-run (not limited).

wow I definitely looovveee the second hoodie!! when it comes to my clothes, I like it simple and that’s why my tokidoki bags match me so well~ they make up for my simple style =P I gotta find that hoodie when it comes out!!!

I actually love the pink/grey/black color combo, and I normally hate pink! I’m trying to talk myself down from buying pretty much the entire spring line of clothing, I love just about all of it.

Did Tobi say when they would be getting the raincoats in? The Giant Peach is already out of Large… I wonder how the raincoats run in size.. I usually buy larges in the shirts.

Swyntell - Tobi should be getting their shipment of spring 2008 tokidoki clothing, including the raincoats, in about 2 weeks. If you usually wear a Large in tokidoki shirts, you would probably want a Large raincoat too, but I will let you know for sure how the sizing runs when I receive the one that I ordered.

queenlouis - i bought the winter 2007 cactus friends hoodie (the tan one with the camo print around the bottom) in a XL in hopes that it would fit. sadly, it was much smaller than i thought it would be. i wear an actual XL in tops as well - around a 18/20 - and i could barely get my arms into it without feeling like i was going to rip it. lmao. it was very sad.
so i really wouldn’t say it’s true to size (at all) if you’re a fluffy gal like myself.
