I just received my package from The Giant Peach containing the Adios & Ciao Ciao all-over print t-shirt, hoodie, and raincoat, and I love it all! The sizing is quite different from the holiday 2007 clothing though. My spring 2008 t-shirt is 2 inches longer than my brown holiday 2007 t-shirt with Sandy on the swing, even though both tees are the same size. In contrast, the spring 2008 hoodie that I got is 2 inches shorter than my tan holiday 2007 hoodie with Sandy on the swing. It is also 2 inches narrower in width, so it is more of a slim fit. Therefore my sizing advice for those who buy online is to size down with the t-shirts if you are on the fence between sizes, but size up with the hoodies. For the raincoat, I got a Medium and I am happy with the fit. If anyone needs measurements, just ask. A Small would have also fit me, but I prefer the extra breathing room since the PVC the raincoats are made of has no give to it. So for the raincoat sizing I recommend that you go with whatever size tokidoki t-shirt usually fits you most comfortably.

Cynthia – I’m a size 4 in most other brands of clothing. My Medium raincoat is 18.5″ from pit to pit and 29″ long. It’s a comfortably loose fit, so if you’re about the same size, a Small should be fine.
yeah… i got the a/cc sushi shirt in a small, my regular size and im really disappointed that i even got the shirt to begin with. never thought i’d hear myself say that about tokidoki. but the shirt is wayyy to small for me. and the material is rather thin. i dont know. maybe ill ebay it and buy another one…in a medium…

i want to buy the raincoat but if i do, would it be overkill if i wear my tokidoki bag with it and wear tokidoki shirt?
beebz – Yeah, tokidoki sizing can be pretty funky. I wear a Small in tops in most other brands, but I get size Medium or Large tokidoki t-shirts. The sizing was actually less generous in the older seasons. My 2006 Large t-shirts are waaaay smaller than this season’s. I think that from now on I will stick with Mediums. But yeah, a tokidoki Small doesn’t match up with the Small that most people are used to.
chihiro – I say no, it wouldn’t be overkill! I wear my tokidoki winter jacket with a tokidoki t-shirt and/or hoodie & a tokidoki bag all the time. I have gotten a lot of random stranger compliments so far, but no one has recoiled in fear.

I was about to say the same thing! My hoodies fit fine (small) but my t-shirt smalls are way too big.
Either way, it’s cute so I want to wear it more often until it shrinks to my size! Hahah!

So my girlfriend’s a comfortable medium in american apparel tshirts and a tighter small. She’s bout 5′ 6” if that helps any. But i want to get her the amore vero hoody…the grey one in the new spring 2008 collection. Any advice on the fit and does anyone know if it’s a tshirt material or a sweater material??? Thanks

I was surprised at how different the sizing was from last season to this season.
Dezzy – That hoodie might be out at the tokidoki store in Italy, but it is not (yet?) available in the States.
Just wanted to add some info about my sizing experience since I just got my Giant Peach order! The s/s gray hoodie is true to size, it fits like I expected an XL to fit. The black dress, on the other hand, is very generous. I could have easily gotten a L and been plenty comfortable. It’s nice and stretchy and lays nicely though, so you can’t really tell it’s a little big. Both are so cute, now if only I can resist getting anything else! If anyone gets that pink tunic, please chime in about the sizing!
