Meomi Qees!
Reader Heather just wrote to let me know that she discovered that Meomi has a website called meomi cloud house. It is seriously one of the coolest, cutest websites ever. AND - they are selling 2″ and 8″ Powder Cat Meomi for LeSportsac qees (the ones that came attached to some of the first season tokidoki bags), for $15 and $80 respectively! There are also some other really cute toys for sale in their online store, plus free downloads and animations. I just downloaded the January 2008 desktop.

I couldn’t believe when I found these, I was sooo very excited that I had to share!
I have an OP bag that I got nearly 2 years ago, without the qee, because I didn’t know any better at the time. I’ve been searching for an affordable Meomi qee since then.
I’m sure these will go fast!

ohhhh exciting! this was always my favorite qee but i’ve never had a chance to own one (attached to a OP bag). i think it’s just a toy though, and not a keychain?

Yeah, I wasn’t sure about the key ring, either, since it doesn’t say it comes with one…but still couldn’t help myself and had to buy one!

I love the Meomi Design team! I got my nephew the Octonauts and the Sea of Shade for Christmas and he loved it. Such beautiful artwork. I’m thinking I should pick it up for myself too (along with the other titles)

I contacted meomi’s club house to ask if they were getting anymore meomi qee’s and was told that it was a limited production run, so no more are going to be brought in. SOLD OUT

Wow, I feel dumb! I had a chance to get the meomi’s but I have several already. I should have bought a couple of extras. Did not realize they were a limited run. I got the big one tho to go with my big Sahara qees. Ambersdad, when you find out how to attach a key chain let us know please. I bought a couple of the small Tummos to hopefully attach to some Foresta bags.

To those of you who were able to get a Meomi qee or two, be happy for the unexpected opportunity.
To those who weren’t fast enough, it sucks, but it leaves you no worse off than you were before (since people obviously thought the qees were long sold out already, or they wouldn’t have been bidding up to $125 for a Meomi listed on eBay before this post was made!). If nothing else, the larger supply of them out in the mix now should drive eBay prices down.

I looked at this SAME site over a month ago when I found out they are the designers for the Vancouver 2010 olympics’ mascots (I’m from vancouver).
NEVER noticed the qees!!!!
I’ve been hunting for the 2″ qees forever… I really wish I’d paid more attention!
