I have been talking to reader Sue from Canada about her first tokidoki tattoo since it was just a concept based on one of the bluebirds from the Playground print (blown up from my Playground Campeggio!) a few months ago:
And now she has sent in a photo of the finished tattoo to share with all of us – I think it came out great!
That’s fly! I love the coloring of the jewel. Is it on her thigh? Arm? Boy, that sounds like a weird question. Anyway – awesome tat!

daniela – i know of one bikini. it’s not the same theme as the playground print though. and… it’s SO expensive because of the current exchange rate

i love the blue bird! more so, the “blue jay” style bird. i was thinking of getting a similar tattoo, sans the bullet. but the bullet is sort of a trademark. hmmm…
Hey Daniela and Krisha, I would die for a Tokidoki Bikini!
I guess I’ll have to get a plain bikini instead so the tattoo(s) (getting another one Friday of Pirata kitty and angry thunder cloud) are the showcase of my beach bod… (which is sadly not in beach shape)!
Tara d and daniela: I’m with you on the more “blue jay” style of this particular bluebird in the print. I like it better than the more swallow styled bluebird from foresta.
I had the artist make him a little more “annoyed looking” like he just snatched up the jewel (who is annoyed with being snatched up). The jewel is from the diamond T shirt from the fall/winter collection.
