Stephanie’s tokidoki Tattoo
After seeing my post about Sue’s tokidoki tattoo, reader Stephanie from Chicago sent in a photo of her tokidoki tattoo too - and I love it!
Stephanie got her ink done at Chicago Tattoo Co., and here is what she has to say about it:
“I re-drew the entire drawing myself, which is why it looks a little rough. I like it better for that reason. It’s still tokidoki but a touch of me because I had to edit it to the perfect size and add all of the extra elements. I had originally planned on doing an entirely tokidoki half-sleeve but since then I’ve thrown a couple non-tokidoki tattoos on. I still plan on going through with the original idea though. Tokidoki half-sleeve!”
Hooray for the half-sleeve idea!

I have a fantasmino tattoo on my arm…

I have my leg open from the bottom of the knee to the top of my foot planned for an all over toki “print” for my leg. That tat looks great.

and the text underneath was done months later. it reads ‘we hope. we try. we live. survive.’ and it’s lyrics from a band called comeback kid. I really like how they came together with the tokidoki flower.

I think that is pretty sweet. I’ve always wanted to get a bastardino, but in the long run I can’t see myself at 80 sporting a saggy tat. wahhh

I thought about that too and you know what? I think when you’re 80, you will still love it, it will still look great, and you won’t care what anyone thinks about it anyway

i have a whole sleeve that is tokidoki and hello kitty - it’s funny, i started the tattoo years ago and now there’s tokidoki x hello kitty! you can imagine how excited i got about that! it’s almost done - just have a few small spots to finish up.

I know huh :3 I saw this thing on youtube, and this girl was getting a tattoo the size of a penny and she was screaming so loud they had to give her something to bite on >_>!

I have a Sandy on my leg (above my ankle), my sister-in-law has the heart and crossbones in the same location as mine, and my bestfriend has Cloudia on the whole top of her foot!! We love the tokidoki!!!!

I don’t have any tokidoki tattoos but I have airbrushed tokidoki characters on the hood of my Honda Fit. My boyfriend started it but its still a work in progress.

i have a tokidoki half sleeve on the upper part of my right arm. it features one of the rainbows with smiley and frowny clouds and lightning bolts, a set of the smiley diamonds and bastardino and polpettina! i absolutely love it, although i have no idea how to post pictures of it! its on my myspace if anyone is interested. myspace.com/jeshaheidi

Wow I’ve got to say.. tokidoki tats are pretty awesome!! I’d love to see everyone else’s pics!! Post pictures!! Especially GANELLE!! I’d love to see Totoro and Puar too!!

Turned 18 and wanted to get a tattoo but i couldnt decide what I should get. Then I thought, I have to get an adiostar on the back of my neck. No pain at all! And i love it! Planning on getting a few more Tokidoki Tattoos
