Paradiso Print Re-Release is TODAY in Hawaii
Reader Donna just let me know that she received a call from LeSportsac Ala Moana in Hawaii telling her that the tokidoki Paradiso print re-release goes on sale first thing this morning! That should be about 5 hours from the time of this posting. (And, just to clarify for new readers - the Paradiso print re-release is happening in Hawaii and Guam only.)

I got the call last night and they aren’t doing any holds and are limiting bags. 2 bags per style!

Any reason that it’s always those two places that get re-releases? Was there a low number of re-prints I take it. It’s one of those times that I wish I was there not here in the desert >_

they probably do the re-release here in hawaii because it’s where they mark up the retail the most. it’s almost $20/$30 more than retail for the bags.

Joanne - Good, I am glad to hear about those limits! That should make things a lot more fair for everyone.
Janette - If I remember correctly, the Hawaii and Guam LeSportsac stores are franchises that are not affiliated with the USA mainland stores, so they can price their bags higher & play by different rules (like contracting to be allowed to do reprints).

Update: Ala Moana is not taking phone orders. they are helping actual customers first.
call the Waikiki store at (808) 971-2905. they’ll take down your phone # and call you when the bags come in this afternoon

The paradiso re-release does have the Adios qee. Quantities of bags were VERY limited. The Ala Moana store only got a total of 6 Cucciolo bags, and it seemed like only about 6 of the other popular styles like the mama mia, stellina & campeggio. These bags were sold out in about 15 minutes after the store opened! They still had some bags left in the Zucca, Awentura, Trennino and some other styles…but that was 5 hours ago.

when Waikiki called me when they got their delivery, they only had 4 MM’s available. i got my MM for $177.41 (including shipping and tax)

The Waikiki stores put their bags out at about 2 p.m. today. Checked out all the Waikiki stores and not a single Scuola to be found! The store managers said there were only 5 Scuola bags received for the entire island. Bummer.

littlekittychan - It is completely a matter of personal taste. For me, sushi boy is not one of my favorite characters on the print. It just matters which characters you like best.

Yeah, the sushi boy is a popular character with a lot of people (he centainly my favorite). I was recently watching an eBay listing for a denaro with the sushi boy placed perfectly in the center and it sold for over $200! And I like to fold my ciao ciao on the side that has the sushi boy centered on the front. The punk rocker boy is pretty cute too!

i live on guam, and the bags aren’t snatched up quite as quickly over here, though they’re very much available (three stores altogether on our tiny island).

Does anyone know if Guam takes orders over the phone ? What is the process ? Is it like Hawaii where you send the store a money order through the mail ? Do they help with print placement ? Are the prices in Guam the same as Hawaii retail ?

I got all hissy w/ the Ala Moana peeps cuz i mentioned i was looking for a scuola…but then again…when i called the Kalakaua store, they did have my gioco and MM….whew! Money Order is goin out! Anyone interested in the Tokidoki Miao Cat?? I talked to the creator…i cant wait to get mine! Hopefully in April 2008!

I made a bold move and rang the Waikiki store all the way from Aus, apparently the manager stopped all mail order yesterday, so I asked if they could make an exception since I’m in Australia. They said they would get back to me…although it doesn’t sound too hopeful…

OK could someone list the phone numbers I can call to reach the two Hawaii lesportsac stores? I’m not looking for paradiso thanks to an INSANELY lucky ebay buy (I got the paradiso luna for $98!!!!), but I am hoping to get something in the amore print when it comes out. It is just so cute. ^_^

a few questions….. does anyone know when the re-release date is for the inferno bags? what bag styles are being re-released? and, how much more $$ are the bags? I’m thinking that i want an inferno stellina or campeggio. also, what is the shipping charge from hawaii?

I think that most if not all styles are re-released, price is about $30 more per item, and the shipping charge depends on where you live.

nxdlamb - they dont’ have an exact date, just saying sometime in March. With Paradiso, I was called the night before to say that they were getting Paradiso the next day. Well, the Stellina is $165 w/ tax and the Campeggio is about $204 w/ tax. Not sure about shipping, but I know they don’t charge a crazy amount. Also, they only take money orders.

OMG, I GOT MY PARADISO ORDER from Hawaii yesterday!! Wahoooo!!! OMG, the giocco and the MM bags are sooooooooo cute! Im totally kicking myself for not getting it at macys w/ the 20% off coupon! geeze.
