2008 European tokidoki Bags
As some of you may have noticed in the comments a couple posts below, Vicky from Chicki was nice enough to stop by and give us some info about the new line of tokidoki bags from Italy.
Here is a recap of what she shared:
“I have just had my first glimpse of the new tokidoki bag range from Italy. There are 3 prints but I would say the print which is on your shopper is by far the best. I think they are calling it the 80’s print. There is also an Adios print in black and white and a camouflage print. Altogether there is 8 new bags and 1 wallet. There is also a cute new grey and white shopper which will retail for about £15.
They will range from £40 - £100 so it’s about the same as the LeSportsac prices. They have just released a new shopper thats very good value. It will retail for about £15 and is just great for the more environmentally friendly shopper. It will fold up nicely and fit in your hand bag. ”

Vicky also let me know that the bag with the girl on the front is a Spanish bag, which is very hard to find.

I absolutely love the bag with the little girl on the front! It’s so cute! I also like the adios star print bag. Loving the little colored tokidoki logos. Why, oh why, can’t they sell these in the US?

I like that bag too - Vicky is trying to get ahold of them for her shop but they’re hard to find. My favorites are the black/grey/white camo bags.

Erm.. by wallet, do you mean the second large photo listed? It looks more like a simply clutch to me but… :S I’ve been waiting for a nice Tokidoki wallet with lots of slots for cards, etc. ~_~

i was just about to say (to myself) that it was similar to the Spanish bags, but obviously Vicki said that, too! i like the spanish bag because the colors aren’t as bright as the first one that was released.
i like the Adios all-over bag, it’s a little bit more classy looking with the shiny vinyl.

cece - No, that is a handbag. The wallet is not pictured.
Cory - Some of them look like they are made of pleather or vinyl to me but it’s hard to tell. Vicky should be able to fill us in.
whisperingmachines - I’m sure there will be a way to get ahold of that bag eventually. Although if there isn’t our wallets will thank us.

Hi,
I’m a french and i follow tokidoki since a while. I’m the one who send the pictures of the fake tokidoki bags market.
I’m now back to France after 2 years in Asia.
And i’m really dissapointed, i don’t find any tokidoki sellers in my country. I have to buy them in US and ship them to my place.
Does anyone knows a french website who sell our favorite designer stuffs?

there are none. the Qees were only for the US released bags. i own a couple of the Euro bags, and all they come with are additional Toki “key chains” in white painted metal.

Yes we ship anywhere. I just wish the Tokidoki.it site did. I’ve wanted an uchiwa for ages but can only get them off ebay but am not prepared to pay the crazy inflated prices.

Vicky …Is there anyway to get in touch with you so that I can perhaps have you get me a SHOPPING BAG…. Perhaps if you do we can work out a deal so that perhaps I can get you a UCHIWA and mail that to you…… I could pay for the UCHIWA here and you pay for the shopping bag and this way whoever owes the difference wouldn’t be out too much in paypal fees…..

It’s not the same as the 80’s print shopper that was sent to stephanie.
Here is a link to another UK site that is selling it for a whopping £55! It does not have adjustable straps like they say and is so overpriced as it should retail for £12.95 - £16.95.

Lindsey & Judy - European tokidoki items are sold in Europe only. None of these items will be coming to the USA.
