More 2008 European Bags - and a Wallet!
Vicky from Chicki just sent me some more photos of the 2008 European tokidoki bags - check them out below. How cute are the 80s Print wallet and the Vinile baby barrel bag?! I like the t-shirt that the model in the second to last photo is wearing too. Vicky said that she is ordering the new bags this weekend and hopes to have them available in about 3 weeks.

The barrel bags are cute, i know what u mean about the gold Krisha but I think I can look past that cos its still just so cute. Here is a recap of all the retail prices for the bags give or take a couple of pounds. I will release the Tokidoki-blog discount voucher as soon as they are up. The rocker hoody is in the newest post about the European clothes. Its black with the cute rocker guy with a guitar. After getting through the checkout you can opt to pay by credit card or Paypal. We do not accept all credit cards on our site but you can pay by all cards through Paypal if you do not have an account.
The wallet is very nice but will be like nearly $100 which is crazy. I don’t think i could bring myself to spend that much on a wallet unless i was uber rich. Some of the bags are cheaper so it just does not seem right.

I love the shape of the barrel bag, but I think I’ll pass on these.

My wish has been answered ! I wanted a wallet so badly , but the upcoming Tokidoki for LeSportSac line had no wallets or accessories available . When I heard that the European Bags came with a wallet I was so excited ! I’m an accessories kind of girl ! Vicky you said this line was limited as well ? How limited exactly ? After going crazy with the wait lists for the Tokidoki For Hello Kitty line I’m hoping not to have to go through the wait and frustration that line caused . Are there any other wallets available besides that one pictured ? My own wallet is screaming as well . I spent in the triple digits for the Hello Kitty line , I’m buying for the L’Amore re-release next month now this ! Wow ! And to think the new line is just around the corner !

Another question regarding the wallet . Is the one pictured the set print that will be on all of the wallets sold ? Or is it like LeSportSac bags where there is your choice of print placement ? If there is print placement choice will you try and get the charaters that we would like featured on the wallet ? If it is going to be priced at $ 100.00 US Dollars and print placement is available I would like to have a choice as to what charaters are on my wallet .

I don’t officialy know the numbers of bags produced but i would think it might be around 200 -300 each. This is based on the amount of stock they have just had.
I do not know about the wallets either as i have only seen the one in the picture. As soon as they come i will let you know.

Vicky one more question do you mean there will be no more than 200-300 produced total for each bag and wallet for the new European Tokidoki line ? Wow if that’s the case this line is a short run ! Did you order the Spanish line for Tokidoki yet ? The one bag you showed from that line was beautiful . Do you have pictures from that line ? What other bags were available from the Spanish line besides the one that you showed ? Were there any accessories like wallets ? Thanks Vicky for all information !

If the wallets come with different print placements you will be able to request the print you would prefer. I will find out if they plan to produce more of these bags and in what sort of numbers.
Unfortunately we will not be stocking the Spanish bag as it is an older style. This range came out before the pink range that we have and I have not been able to find any.

OOPS sorry got the prices mixed up. I do not have any measurments for these bags yet, I only the pictures everyone else has seen. We will take plenty of pictures of each style of bag as soon as we can and give in depth descriptions of each.

Yenni - i’ve personally bought a couple of european tokidoki items from chicki.co.uk (aka Vicky), and their service is fantastic. i recently had a pencil case shipped to canada at a small fee and it came in just over a week… that’s faster than packages i order from the states and we’re next-door neighbours. ~_~
and i really, really hope Vicky orders the tutti hoodie. now that the euro collection aren’t being released in the states after all, chicki’s my only hope! and i sorely hope that it won’t cost me an arm and a leg. i love simone and his work but a poor college student like me can only afford so much.

I know the wallet is sooo expensive. In a way i was glad that we could not get le sportsac bags here cos i would be so poor. I will order hoodys if they are in stock when i order next. They just sell out so quickly and there is so much i would like to get.

Vicky! I’m very sorry to contact you about this through this blog, but I placed a pre order for the nana/adios star bikini and my payment got ‘caught’. It said I was in the process of paying, but I lost the website and have no way of completing it! Either way, if there is a tokidoki-blog voucher then I’ll definitely wait till then (and possibly add one of these bags to my order as well)!

The clothing lines inEurope are a lot more money for some reason. We have to sell a t-shirt for about £32 and the hoodies are very expensive for us also. The clothing lines in the US are manafactured by different people . I do not think it is fair that we have to pay so much more for a T-shirt. The jewellery and bag prices should be about the same for UK and US.
I know that the website that you mention does tend to charge a lot more for some items.
We also have to add a tax of 20% for all of the Italian goods which adds a lot onto the final price.

I jusy found out that there will be no more of these bags made this season. So the quantities made of each were between 200-300 for each style. No new bags will come out until autumn / winter 09. I think they must mean at the end of this year. It’s quite confusing sometimes as their translation is not always too good.
Also the Cactus Rocker hood will not come back into stock until then :C
