Saki just wrote to let me know that she went to the TokyoPlastic custom geisha show at The Showroom on Saturday night, and saw that Simone had done a custom geisha. It is not for sale, but she took a picture to share with all of us. It’s cute!

Then I checked out Saki’s blog, Saki Wrote What?!! and saw that there is a tokidoki Kaniza vinyl figure being released at SDCC ’08. It will be limited to 1,000 pieces.

Wow the Geisha is so cool!
the others are kinda odd! but i like the Pirata Adios
that custom Geisha is awesome. i wish ToykoPlastic was at NYCC so they could have it on display.
and i wish that figure had been available at NYCC! those are the same sharks on my Pool Trade Show tote and Pirata pieces.
Hey guys, whats a kaniza?
@ Janet: A kaniza is a figure released exclusively by toyqube. It comes in various sea creature shapes, above is the starfish. They also have hammerheads, kansers, etc. They recently released their 1st series which includes such artists as Julie West, Dacosta Bailey, Charuca, Andrew Bell, NYC Lase, etc. Check the following link to see some of them.

p.s. I swear I don’t work for them. hahaha.
P.P.S: Hi Stephanie!
How big are these figures??? Does anyone know how much they’ll be selling for???
they’re 3.75″-4.25″
the star is the helmet thats sits on top of the other bit-
they should retail at about $12
Unless it’ll be a 6″ speacial then it will be about $45
=)

I was wondering if anyone knew the days that Simone Legno would be doing signings at the SDCC [if he's going]? Would it be like the NYCC, where people said that you would have to pull a number and wait in line?
Any info would really help me with planning my trip to SD xD
Thank you!
Hello everyone. I’ve recently been all over the web searching for rare Tokidoki toys to continue building up my collection when I stumbled across something really cool. Toyqube.com has the Tokidoki Kaniza for sale. It’s only $25.00 and it’s In Stock. It says that it’s numbered only at 1,000 pieces so it’s really rare. I just recieved mine yesterday and the shipping was super fast. Also, it looks like it may even be hand painted except for the sharks. This is an amazing find so take advantage of it before they’re all gone!
