New tokidoki Jewelry, Watches, and Toys
Remember the tokidoki Pirata necklace that I blogged about back in February? Well, tokidoki just let me know that the necklace will be officially released as an exclusive to shop.tokidoki.it customers only - hopefully later in the day today! It will retail for $45, be limited to 250 pieces, and there will be a new shop.tokidoki.it homepage design to celebrate its release.

Vicky from Chicki just received her shipment of new 2008 European tokidoki jewelry and took photos of it to share with us. The pendants are BIG! She took some photos of the necklaces on mannequins to give us a helpful sense of scale.
Vicky also let me know that she just got an e-mail confirming the release of the Skeletrino and Skeletrina vinyl toys. They will be in stores by mid to late June. The USA retail price will be $10.95 each, and the UK retail price will be about £6.95 each. Here is a photo of them that I ganked from Vinyl Pulse:

Jamie from JapanLA just sent me photos of the latest tokidoki watches - Razor, Pizza Mia, and Solar. She said that she is already sold out of the Razor watch (which is my favorite!), but can special order it for people.

the solar watch looks like it’ll match the new EcoMondo print!!
now that the lametta bracelet has a watch face on it, i’m more inclined to buy this one instead of the bracelet. i can’t make up my mind!!

1 - those pendants are HUGE!! It’s like rapper-huge blingy diamond necklace kinda big!!
2 - Skeletrino and Skeletrina are super cute
3 - I LOVEEEEE the razor and solar watches!!!! I don’t think I’ve ever been so in love with a tokidoki watch before I saw these two!!

oh i’ve been waiting for skeletrino and skeletrina for so long! skeletrina is a totally fabulous little gal, eh? i love her little bracelet and her designer-inspired print. ^-^
did chicki say anything about what the pendants are made of? they don’t look like enamel like the ones that are on the tokidoki site now, they look like maybe plastic of some sort?

Stephanie - The charms are made of silk screened perspex, and the chains are brass with glass pearl accents. I originally posted the necklaces here but had to take the photos down. >:|

I’d buy the pirata necklace if tokidoki.it would change their goddamn shipping policy. My girlfriend bought me the tokidoki x hello kitty necklace, but it took a week and a half to get to us because UPS is so retarded. ;~~;

any pictures of the strap for the solar watch? Does this have any special features cos it looks almost as if it glows in the dark?(wouldn’t that be cool)

I LOVE the Solar Eco Mondo style watch!!! It looks smaller than the usual watches, too, which is AWESOME - I have tiny wrists!!!!

Just wondering if you guys in the USA have the option of buying the European bags from the Tokidoki.it site as i still cant order any of the US stuff and get it shipped here.

I called JapanLA, the Razor watch is $160. They said they’ll be getting more of them next week. Sorry, I forgot to ask about the Pizza Mia and Solar watches. Dang, I just got an iPod for my birthday, but now I wish I had asked for the Razor watch (and a pre-ordered 2008 tokidoki bag)!

The solar watch actually looks so much better in the photo. I had it on hold for me at JapanLA but changed my mind . The solar watch was the reason (along with the sushi watch and pizza mia) I couldn’t sleep at the time that I saw it at JapanLA’s tokidoki catalog.
Janelle…….. It is NOT SMALLER than the other watches. It is big (as I like them)…I love the strap… super cute but the middle dark area has sort of like solar panels in them ….I might still change my mind and get it anyway as I have collected 11 tokidoki watches in 4 months ;p (i love watches more than bags… to each his own, right?)
nxdlamb……… the adios thought bubble is the second hand and rotates with different pics….such as the hamburger, slice of pizza, monkey with the banana……….It is cute ! a little smaller than the sushi watch but a tad thicker …..my husband is getting it for me for mother’s day !
the solar watch is $180 & pizzamia $170.

Vicky - We don’t get the option of buying any of the Euro bags. They’re not even available on the US site. I do like the cardigans on the Euro site, though. Pretty nifty.
Now that I’m browsing the Euro store…I’m really diggin’ that Momobella necklace! I wonder how big the pendant is…

Looks like I might have to hold off on that Momobella necklace. It seems like it’ll cost roughly $100.
And Sue from Canada - the busy necklace is up on the Euro store for around $130. Just to give you an idea.
