The limited edition tokidoki for Mikasa soccer ball that I blogged about below just got added to the tokidoki online store. That was quick! It is built to FIFA specifications and the retail price is $150.

wow, that is one expensive soccer ball.
Yowza! I think it’s safe to say that I won’t be purchasing that.
holy crap! lol
damn! I think the post forgot to mention the soccer ball is made of gold and it has a life time warranty.
where?…
ya, good thing my kid doesn’t even play the sport. otherwise he’d be crushed!
That’s way expensive O_o
Wow!! This is not that bad $150 for a piece of Simone’s artwork. The Murakami ball is $400.
on my goodness! That’s crazy! Buuut I’ll probably get one… Curse my love for tokidoki and soccer…
Seriously…I thought the beach towels were too much, but this is really pushing it!
I don’t know, on one hand I agree that it’s really expensive, and on the other I’m thinking it’s the same price as the bags and probably a greater value in terms of materials and workmanship so it’s not toooo out of line.
True … I guess I figure at least I can use my bags … I can’t really use a soccer ball … it is really nice looking tho. I saw it at NYCC and was all like WOW …. NIIIICE
Wow, I’m sure it’s worth the price but that’s still a lot of money. Good thing I’m not into soccer and have the soccer poster from NYCC to tie me over.
Good lord, thank goodness i’m not a soccer fanatic.
o_O that’s a very expensive ball, keke ;p
jeebus christ!
i would rather buy a pair of high top Tigers.
The price of the ball is about the same for a good “FIFA specifications” ball…so 150 is about right….
