Contest Rules:
1. Sportsmanship is required of all participants both during and after the contest.
2. This contest runs from July 16 – August 3, 2008 at 11:59pm. At that time, entries will be closed and the judging will begin. Vicky from Chicki will be performing the judging. Winners will be announced on August 4, 2008.
3. First and second place will be selected by the judge as the most creative and/or humorous ideas. Third, fourth and fifth place will be picked at random from all of the entries.
Although some of my fantasy merchandises have already been mentioned, I still think they are just too awesome to be left out. Originality is important but it’s also about what we LOVE to have right?
1) Tokidoki vinyl stickers. I really really want to decorate my car into a Tokidoki theme car. Each kit can contain several stickers of the same theme/style. They would be at least 1 gigantic sticker to go on the car hood and a few medium size one for the side doors. Maybe the roof can have an enormous “Tokidoki” logo.
2) Tokidoki character apron. I would love a series of aprons, each showing one Tokidoki character. Ideally the skirt of the apron would be puffy to resemble an A-line skirt. The back will be tied with a big and cute bow. Wearing something cute as these (along with the Tokidoki kitchen utensils that others have suggested) I think any Tokidoki lover would be able to make wonderful things in the kitchen. Right?
3) Tokidoki canopy bed. The whole bed frame would be covered with Tokidoki artworks…especially the headboard and the posts. It would be nice to have a simple wood frame carved with Tokidoki characters and covered with a super cute canopy. There will be small Tokidoki plush characters hanging down from the canopy ceilings. You will fall asleep each night accompanied by these cute creatures. How wonderful is that? If the idea of a Tokidoki bed frame is too much, the canopy itself will be enough to make me happy. Although I will have to get a new bed first. ^____^
I have a couple of merchandise ideas

It can be a cute little tokidoki house and when it’s going to rain, Sandy pops out and she’s wearing a raincoat and holding an umbrella. When it’s going to be sunny out, it can be Mozzarella popping out wearing sunglasses. I already have one of these barometers at home and my grandmother had one too … a tokidoki one would be super cute
2. Tokidoki Cactus Toothbrushes. A toothbrush with Bastardino at one end – his body is the toothbrush head and his “spikes” will be the bristles. The bristles can be the color of his spikes. Also a Polpettina one with her body as the toothbrush head and pink bristles.
3. For people who like to skydive, Tokidoki parachutes. So when you pull the cord, out pops a giant parachute of Mozzarella’s face or any other character. You can float to safety with Tokidoki.
4. This is something close to my heart. I am a very sentimental person and I love to keep little things that remind me of important events in my life. I would love it if they made a Tokidoki Music Box/Keepsake box. The box can be adorned with drawings of different characters with a main character tile on top. When you open the box, a very sweet melody plays and there is a character twirling around in front of a mirrored lid (like a ballerina in a music box). There would be a compartment for you to store all your keepsakes. This is the item I would want most in the world and if Tokidoki ever made it, I would be the happiest person ever.
5. Last, but not least, a collaboration between Tokidoki and Sharpie. Simone is always using Sharpie markers to draw and so I think a collaboration between them would be cool. They could make colors with names like “Polpettina Pink”, “Bastardino Green”, “Sandy Sand”, “Inferno Red”, “Pirata Blue”, etc.
Umm I guess those are all my ideas.
I would like a Tokidoki TV/DVD set (similar to how Disney made their Winnie the Pooh TV/DVD set). Using the outline of several characters [like Bulletto, Mozarella, Sandy (or any cactus character)] for their head would make me LOVE TV more. Think about it: they can put your favorites together–a favorite TV Show and a favorite character! It’ll feel like the Tokidoki characters are part of the show…which will make me love it even MORE!!
For Mozarella or Bulletto, I was thinking that they can hold the TV (like Winnie the Pooh is doing here: http://www.ilovemybaby.org/images/r_winnie_the_pooh_tv.jpg) and their gun/bullets could be the remote.
It’ll make you feel like one of the characters when you hold the gun, huh?

a tokidoki PIANO!
a grand piano~ it would be covered in tokidoki characters, and maybe the keys would have adios/nana stars for that black/white color scheme XD!
if I had a pretty piano, even if I played horribly, it wouldn’t matter since everyone’s eyes would be glued to the piano anyways! XD!!! HAHA!
lately, I’ve had 2 obsessions. super mario smash bros and tokidoki. half of my waking hours is spent playing smash bros with the remaining time eyeing and falling in love with tokidoki products I find online.
my dream product is a tokidoki version of super mario smash bros. I would love to pound away at evil villains with mozzarella or poke monsters with sabochan’s spiky suit. i’m pretty sure then 100% of my time awake will be spent playing that…no doubt. it would be a great way to get even more immersed, learn the deeper stories of these characters and fall in love with how adorable they are over and over again every time I play it – there could be a storyline and a brawl mode with all these hidden trophies that I can unlock and cute stickers!
If this isn’t possible – i actually have a third obsession – dots. my room is filled with dot products from wall décor to pillows to photo frames to clothing. I would love to have tokidoki wall decals to decorate my room – it would be a lot of fun to fall asleep and wake up to. not only will they be great for the wall – I can stick them onto things that will motivate me i.e. a vacuum cleaner to make vacuuming my hair infested rugs fun. was that TMI? whoops anyways, wall decals – they would be perfect decorations for any items that would allow decals to be stuck to ‘em.
This is tough, because as I type this i’m pretty sure I would be happy with everything tokidoki. I am THAT obsessed as I’m sure many other people here are as well. so I will stop rambling in hopes I haven’t written too much already to be disqualified.

y’know those cute figurines that uses solar power and bobs its head whenever directed under the sunlight? Yeah, I’d like to have one of those in a character =) Put them in the car as decor, or just stare at it all day long, procrastinating on that 10 page paper due in two hours (huh, sounds oddly familiar)…
I love tokidoki and the environment, so I’d love to see an ‘eco-friendly’ line of clothes/bags. No more teasing for being a treehugger with tokidoki!

well, my girlfriend introduced me to tokidoki by of course showing off her tokidoki bags to me and i actually bought her some things and i couldnt help but look at the adios character. i thought he was really cool. i actually stuck an adios star sticker on my car. and a really cool merchandise line for tokidoki would be tokidoki power tools for men like power drills that come with matching drill bits. especially in the adios character. those would be really cool.
it’s me again. whoops i forgot how to explain how my 3rd obsession dots has to do with tokidoki wall decals – i’m thinking about tokidoki characters on multi-color circle shaped backgrounds
i skimmed thru and loved everyone’s ideas! the bento box idea is soo adorable… i’d love to see that. a bento box with all of the characters, including the sushi kaiten… with matching hashi/chopsticks, rice ball shapers, little plastic grass separators and adios/cactus pup small pastic dishes to put side dishes in, all complete with a tokidoki insulated lunch bag. i think kids and adults alike will love it. and what a smash it’d be in japan!
i would also LOVE to see bean bag chairs… huge ones, targeted toward children and college kids, or anyone who likes that lounge-loft style. a partnership with the lovesac would be awesome! one side of the giant bean bag sack will have a singular character’s face, really large… the other side of the bean bag sack will have a theme, similar to the le sports sac bags.

like most of the guys on this site, my girlfriend introduced me to tokidoki. and a typical boyfriend, i thought tokidoki was just for girls but then she showed me the adios character and thought that he was pretty cool. my dream tokidoki item or set of items would be a BLACK ADIOS TOILET, like what we always say a toilet is a man’s throne. and wouldnt it be cool to have one themed from the adios character of tokidoki? that would make my bathroom look so awesome! and maybe a matching toilet paper holder and newspaper rack to go with it. now that is my dream tokidoki item that i could use and admire everyday!
i think my dream tokidoki merch would be a tokidoki digital SLR camera. i’m an avid photographer and i’ve been saving up for a good SLR camera, the ones that professionals use and it would be amazing if there was a collaboration between tokidoki and a photography company like canon or nikon. it would probably be one of my dream collaborations as well as dream merch!
Why not a Tokidoki lawnmower… the kind I can sit on and drive around. When I’m not mowing the lawn in styleee, I could drive it around my neighborhood… and look cool.
When will Tokidoki Land open? I really looking forward to da amusement rides like Pirata Of The Carribean ride featuring charcters found in da Pirata print, Sushi Race featuring cars from da on-line game, da Haunted Castle come to life from da Carnival print, da Lamore Tunnel of Love ride for couples in love featuring characters found on da Lamore print, and Spiaggia Waterways which is one indoor beach/surf/water park and features characters found on da Spiaggia print. I can’t wait to meet all my favorite Tokidoki characters like Sandy, Adios, Ciao Ciao, etc. who will all be wandering around da park to greet guests and pose for pictures. I hear Tokidoki Land will also be educational as characters from da EcoMondo print teach kids about conservation. Da Moofia Milk Bar promotes good health as bartenders dressed as our beloved Moofia characters serve da drink dat does a body good. Tokidoki Land will feature animals big and small—da Foresta Conservation Park’s educational mission is to promate awareness about endangered animals with da Onitsuka Tiger characters serving as our tour guides. In addition, Poppetino, Bastardino and friends host a small animal petting park featuring exotic cats, dogs, and other gentle creatures. Tokidoki Land is environmentally conscious as dey encourage people to bring their own shopping totes so as to protect da environment. I wouldn’t mind winning dat Sushi Race shopping tote so I can be ready for when Tokidoki Land finally opens. Tokidoki Land—Where Tokidoki Lovers Unite.
I have so many ideas of the fantasy merchandise but most of them have already been said…Well done guys
Even though the themepark is not a merchandise but please pleaseee consider it, it seriously would be the best themepark ever and would totally beat Disneyland! Hehe…Anyway since the Tokidoki clothing line nearly has everything so why not a belt! It would be even nicer than those of Louis Vuitton and others with its lively and colourful little characters. And they would go perfectly with the existing Tokidoki belt buckles as well. I even have ideas for the new patterns for the belts hehe…the belts can be made to suit every cult/cliché groups out there for example: Goths, Emos, Punks and etc.
And also if Tokidoki would have luggages bags, it would be awesome! Imagine you’re waiting and looking around for your luggages at the airport, you know how boring and tiring that can get with looking through hundreds of same old dull luggages. So with Tokidoki luggages bags, you don’t even need to look! It will shine right through, saves you time and you’ll be the coolest one walking out of the airport! Oh well…unless you happen to bump into more Tokidoki lovers then you won’t be the only one coolest one there hehe
And I have this idea for the pattern as well. The pattern could be the representation of the multi-cultures that Tokidoki represents which are the 3 countries as in Japan since the art is Japanese culture inspired, Italy since that’s where the creator Simone Legno comes from and of course the US since it’s where the brand kicks off and becomes very popular. These could be all linked together from one to another like a continuous montage. Outline of map can also be used, maybe with a little plane going in a red dotted line from one country to the next. So the pattern could have varied characters running around from Japan to Italy and to the US. Also have the trademarks identifying each country like the Pisa tower for Italy, for characters could have the little kids from the Paradiso pattern, but make them into little artists perhaps with a moustache painting a girl that replicates Mona Lisa but of course in a Tokidoki Japanese girl style, pizza delivery boy, and some kids being very messy eating pasta, etc. For Japan, the trademarks could be Mount Fuji, Imperial tower/castle and characters could even be dressed in traditional clothing like Adios in a Samurai outfit and Ciao Ciao in a Kimono. Or it could also feature Shinjuku as well since it’s a popular area. And finally the US, featuring the Statue of Liberty, the Hollywood sign, the LA sign etc etc.…I’m thinking red carpet with all the character dressed very glamourously and Simone Legno himself walking down amongst the characters…Whoaaa that would be so wicked! I would love my luggages bag so much that I don’t want it out of sight! lol That would be difficult when I go abroad lol but hey at least I’ll be travelling in style 
My fantasy piece of tokidoki merchandise would be either a tokidoki Mp3 player because I love to listen to music and it would be a beautifully artistic fashion accessory that does more than looking fabulous
, A tokidoki digital camera so you can carry a camera that takes beautiful pictures and is beautiful itself or A tokidoki car, I know it may sound crazy but It would be so cute to drive in car that is covered in cute little characters

Well I have been a Tokidoki fan for sometime now, so thankyou for hosting a great contest that everyone can participate in. (: My Tokidoki Fantasy item would be a Tokidoki Camera. That would be wicked cute! Harajuku Lovers has a Harajuku lovers camera, but a Tokidoki Camera would beat em by a landslide! The camera would have a Tokidoki decal on it, but when you take pictures you can edit them and put all sorts of Tokidoki cuteness on it. Now you have a cute tokidoki camera to put in your cute Tokidoki portatelefono . It could also come with a mini version of the qee dangleing from the side :] Cute eh? One more thing I had in mind are Tokidoki piggybanks shaped of all the characters or Tokidoki-fied sunglasses/glasses. You could go out in the sun looking ultra cute.

OK…reading through this thread has been way fun. Wow…people have come up with some great great stuff. OK…here are my two cents.
How about Tokidoki braces! Yes…for your teeth. Imagine, instead of those garish little metal squares that bond to your teeth…it could be your favorite tokidoki characters. LOL. I’m sure ladies worldwide would be getting tokidoki braces…even if they don’t need them!
My other idea…I know it’s going to sound kind of morbid…is a Tokidoki Casket! Look at it this way, if Gene Simmons can convince KISS fans to be buried in a KISS Casket, why can’t we be buried in a casket adorned with our favorite Toki Characters! I’d be hard pressed to find a better way to spend eternity.
Other than that…I think everything’s been covered.

I absolutely love Tokidoki, and i’m so glad that Chicki is hosting this contest. There are already lots of fantasy merchandise that i would totally buy!
But if i had to choose just one fantasy piece of Tokidoki merchandise, i would definitely want a TOKIDOKI DRAWING TABLET.
You can always find me drawing on my tablet and coming up with Japan-inspired artwork (just like Simone!). But i must admit that my drawing tablet looks very plain and boring. So what better way to spice up its appearance than with a Tokidoki makeover?
I was thinking several skins can come with the tablet, so that you can change the Tokidoki Drawing Tablet to whatever Tokidoki character design you like. The tablet could come with accessories such as a Tokidoki tablet pen, which I thought could have little Tokidoki styles on it as well. This tablet can also come with some Tokidoki drawing software that gives you cute free Tokidoki desktop wallpapers and tips on how Simone gets his inspiration.
With this kind of Tokidoki goodness in the form of a drawing tablet, I know I would never be able to put this fantasy merchandise down! Plus, Simone’s amazing designs on the tablet would always serve up a load of inspiration for my art when i’m at work.
My fantasy would be Tokidoki kitchen sets, like they used to have in the 50s and 60s. There would be everything that is in the kitchen, like kitchen tables and chairs, cookware, dinnerware, towels, and most definitely those adorable little hostess aprons. And there would also be electronics that would match, like toasters, microwaves, and mixers. It would be a totally awesome modern theme for a girl in her first apartment in the city, but with a retro throwback.
Also, I would absolutely love Tokidoki fabric and fleece for quilting and blankets, so I could design my own Tokidoki bedcovers.

as for my material things:
-TOKIDOKI CHARACTER COLORED CONTACT LENSES! wouldnt that be cool? like having adios or ciao ciao or bastardino in the middle of your pupil/eyes! that would be so cool and it’ll make the ordinary colored contacts waaay cooler! that’ll catch the attention of everyone. remember some people are easily attracted by a person’s eyes, maybe you’ll meet your dream tokidoki boy or girl. (;
-tokidoki collectable soup cans! kind of like the campbell’s soup cans but instead its tokidoki soup! “toki toki good!”
i know this is not a material thing, but imagine… everyone marking there calendars for TOKIDOKI DAY! one day a year where everyone celabrates tokidoki by dressing up as there favorite tokidoki character, kind of like halloween but better. everyone wearing their TOKIDOKI COLORED CONTACT LENSES and sipping their TOKIDOKI SOUP. and each person gets tokidoki merchandise for free.

Tokidoki cosplay outfits! All the characters are so cute, it would be total fun to dress up like them for like Halloween!

Haha. If I could have ANYTHING in the world decked out with tokidoki stuff, I would want like a rideable cloud that had the tokidoki girls on it. Sorta like those ones in the mario games where those thingies throw things at you while riding a cloud with a smiley face on it. Okay, so it sounds silly and you can’t ride clouds, but that would be AWESOME XD
I could fly around and avoid traffic while looking super awesome. The cloud by itself would be amazing, but the only way to make it better would be with tokidoki all over it. The girls, the Moofia, Cactus friends, EVERYONE XD
Maybe it wouldn’t be the fastest way to travel, but it would still be fun, AND enviornmentally friendly xP
As said, that’s a total dream. Slightly more realistically? A tokidoki jetpack. (Haha, and for all I know, maybe jetpacks don’t actually exist, but then again, both of these are dreams of my imagination. Man, I’d be so happy XD.) I’ve always wanted to fly somehow, more freely than flying an airplane. If the cloud sounds too crazy, then a tokidoki jetpack would do. Not only would I be living this dream, I’d be flying around hand in hand proudly wearing the company that can make any single thing extraordinary with unbearable cuteness. Tokidoki.

I think it would be great if Tokidoki made vinyl figures of the girls that are always featured. They already have ones of the cactus pups, or the Moofia set, etc. so I think having vinyl figures of the girls would be a great addition to anyone’s collection. It would be really cool to see how they would turn out because when you’re looking at the figure you’ll be able to look at all their details more closely-like whatever tattoos their sporting or accessories.
a laser pointer that projects character heads. i bought a laser pointer from the m&m’s world in las vegas that instead of projecting a simple red dot, it projects a green m&m character. I also have another laser pointer from walmart that projects a star and another one that projects ‘i heart you’. i think an adios skull laser pointer would be awesome– or bastardino, or others!
Tokidoki for Konad collaboration. For those who haven’t seen or heard of Konad, it is a nail art brand. You can paint your nails and add on cool designs all by yourself- all the while looking like you went to a salon. It uses a special nail polish stamping kit to stamp on different pictures onto your nail. They sell many different design pallets – each pallet containing about 9 designs. You paint over the design directly on the pallet using Konad brand nail polish, scrape away the excess, and use the rubber stamper to pick up the design and apply it to your nail. I think that it would be cool to have pallets with Tokidoki characters on them. Check it out at:

My fantasy piece of Tokidoki would be a laptop!
How cute would it be to sport it everywhere I go when I’m at the cafe or doing homework, it would make me feel a lot happier about studying!
I imagine they would be either black, white, or silver overall. I would love to see a blown up image of Adios on a white one where the cover is and little apples where the keyboard is.
And think of all the fun accessories too! Mouses, mouse-pads, laptop cases, etc.
My fantasy piece of Tokidoki would be several items:
1. French Manicure/pedicure kit, with applique designs. I do my own french pedicure all the time and would love to do something more creative with designs.
2. Swarski crystal embedded sunglasses.
3. Temporary tatoos.
4. A comic book. I would love to see stories created around the characters!
I love taking pictures so of course I’m a crazy scrapbooker too. I’d LOVE to see tokidoki scrapbook supplies. Scrapbook albums, paper, stickers, frames, and even the tools.
Tokidoki chainsaw XD
My fantasy tokidoki item would be BANDANAS!
I wear Bandanas quite often so a Tokidoki one (or several!) would be so great!! They could be made in specific prints or have specific characters – new prints could be designed etc!
ooh–don’t know if I can add to my early submission, or if anyone has sugggested this or not but how about:
–Sunshade for the car (super cool!)
– Christmas lights (that would be so cute, I’d hang them year round!)
–Antenna balls (like how Jack in the box has their’s although I’d worry someone would steal it!
ooh, my bad and I swear this is the last one..a tumbler. I would carry it with me always, since I always have a water cup with me!
My dream Tokidoki item would definitely be a line of TKDK formal gowns.
Back when I was looking for prom dresses, all I could think about was “Jeez, what I would do to have Simone make me a gown”. Since TKDK is my favorite brand, I wanted that more than anything!
I’m an aspiring fashion designer, so there is nothing more romantic and exciting to me than the thought of a line of TKDK evening wear! From cute short cocktail dresses to sexy evening gowns to extravagant ball gowns all featuring the TKDK prints and characters we all know and love!
Oh no, now I’m getting sad cuz it’s not real! :[
