Karmaloop Has Carnival AND Mezzanotte Bags!

Woot! Woot! We get to see what the new 2008 line of Mezzanotte bags look like now too! Karmaloop just added a batch of Carnival and Mezzanotte (the new solid black print) bags to their site. Thanks to Jadie for the heads up. :)

JapanLA also has Carnival bags in, including a photo of the inside of the Bacio bag (thanks, nxdlamb).

Abby, I agree with you…I didnt’ think much of the Bacio but when I saw the inside pix of it, all those zippers and pockets, I fell in love! At first I wasn’t too wild about the carnival print – thought it was too yellow. But the more I stare at the online photos, the more I like it. Is it just me? lol

Is anyone planning on getting the Amica? It’s a great size (21″ x 8.25″ x 14″). It’s big enough to fit my Pekingese too! Methinks I shall get both. Time for a second mortgage. :p Thanks for the Karmaloop code…will save me $69.60. Hmmm….I could use that $69.60 towards a Sorriso.

the code is for 10% off on the bags – sucks!

    ReplyReply
  16. nxdlamb says:

Lisa-are you taking about the tobi.com code or the karmaloop code? the karmaloop code should be 20% off unless you’ve used the code before in which you would only get 10% off. if that is the case just creat an account with a different email address….^-^

Linda – I looked up ‘tokidoki’ on Wikipedia, and it said this:

“There will also be a black print with characters (nana star, fantasmino, adios star) appearing on the inside lining of the bags.”

Thanks for the update TokidokiAngel, I’ve tried calling several local Macy’s but none of them have been able to give me an answer one way or the other. I imagine if one is selling them most will. Or hopefully at least the one in Scottsdale will. :)

I ordered a bacio after seeing the inside :) I never thought I liked the carnival print because it seemed so yellow, but now that I see it….it is one of my faves! All the characters seem so cute!

Thanks nxdlamb…those new shirts are really cute too. Trendy stars doesn’t have a code, does it?

    Re: Karmaloop & print placement

I live near their flagship store in Boston (on Newbury Street) and customer service at their store has always been kind of… iffy at best. Their store has been closed for renovations for months now (probably almost a year) and they don’t keep anyone updated on when it will reopen.

Ordering from their site is great though, especially because of rep codes and coupons and such, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up for someone with any tokidoki-knowledge to actually help out with print placement. If you’re really searching for a bag with a specific character, I’d recommend Pulse or JapanLA, both of which have exceptional customer service and really knowledgeable tokidoki people. (Casey [@ Pulse] helped me pick out my two carnival bags, and now I’m thinking of going to get a third through them…)

I just got my Carnival Graziosa today in the mail from JapanLa (yes, it’s even cuter in real life)! In the past I never thought to Scotch Guard my Tokidoki for LeSportSac bags until it was too late. My question is, did anyone else get their bag? and do you think since the material is so similar that scotch guard would work on the new ones as well? or has anyone actually tried to scotch guard a new one yet? If anyone has any thoughts let me know, I am excited to use my new bag but don’t want it to end up dingy like the last one! Thanks so much!

Someone I know spoke to an associate at Macy’s Herald Square (34th street NY) and the SA said that they would be carrying the bags. I was just there this past Saturday and they don’t have them in yet tho. In the past, with the other prints, Macy’s would always get their stock in weeks to a month later than other stores. I have my bags coming from somewhere else but I do look forward to seeing them in Macy’s so that I can buy another …. hopefully with a 20% coupon :D

So I went into my local Macy’s today to ask about the bags in person (since I had no luck over the phone) and they told me that they have no idea if they’ll get them and although one store might have them it does not mean other stores will. How frustrating.

I ordered it Sunday night and did the 2 day delivery and it arrived today after them sending it out Monday. They are awesome. I was excited to get it so fast!.
