Tokidoki Leopard Rainboots

I just received a product photo of the second style of tokidoki x Chooka rainboots, which are called “tokidoki Leopard.” The style that I posted last week is called “tokidoki Discoteca.”

I have also received word that in addition to Nordstrom, the tokidoki x Chooka boots will also be sold at a store called Jack & Jill in Montreal, Canada.

I’ve been wanting to buy some tokidoki shoes for a while. How true to size are they generally? I wear a size 8.

  2. Krisha says:

I love these as much as the other ones! The woman on the cell phone and Strawberry Milk!

But I don’t think my wallet can handle buying both :(

  3. Chanel says:

I just wanted to inform everyone that the offical sanrio site is selling the tokidoki for hello kitty wallets, camera case, and ID case. And when I went to sanrio today to pick up a wallet I also saw the cosmetic bag. Just thought I’d let you know in case anyone was looking for it.

  4. Razorkiss says:

Cute but to much money =(

  5. Wowie!! =) I love the pattern

  6. Janelle says:

I like these a LOT better than the other style!!! I really can’t justify owning a pair of these though – it only rains here in SoCal a few days out of the year!!! Maybe if I still lived in Chicago… :)

    I’m so tempted though!!! LOL!!!

  7. Beatrice says:

Hello, Just spoke to Barbara from Jack and Jill in Montreal, Canada and she will be receiving both prints of rain boots (Leopard and Discoteca) for adults and kids next month. She is a very reliable person and promised me they were coming in.Can hardly wait!!!!!!!

  8. Jen says:

They pretty much true to size. I have a few pairs of chooka rain boots and I always buy the same size that I wear in regular shoes. If you are a half size, going down is better than going up. Since they are rain boots they don’t fit as tightly as regular shoes.

  9. Joyce says:

chanel wut sanrio store did u go to ? the one in ny ?

  10. Chanel says:

I went to the sanrio store in hawaii at ala moana. I’m not to sure which of the sanrio stores will be carrying the tokidoki for hello kitty but it only might be certain select stores because the other sanrio store in pearlridge in hawaii never carried the tokidoki brand.

  11. Joyce says:

aww okies thanx ^_^ cuz i tried callin the one in ny but all they had were the stationary XP

  12. Alison says:

I was just in NY – the sanrio stores have virtually nothing – just the stationary and the tri color dress (they have a lot of those!). I checked out all Toki haunts…Macy’s had lots of sale which I took part in, The nautical line was basically 50 percent off and there was nothing in terms of 80′s. Virgin megastore had a lot of Carnival purses still. Surprising. I took a pair of 80′s sweatpants off the manaquin…haha.

  13. Sue from Canada says:

Hey how did you find out about the Montreal location??? I am only 1.5 hours away!! I wonder if they will sell anything else.

  14. Sue – the owners of the Montreal shop e-mailed me. They seem like a nice family run business, and they just discovered tokidoki.

  15. marie says:

As much as I love Tokidoki, I’m a huge fan, I hope Jack and Jill in Montreal will not sell anything else from Tokidoki than the rainboots. I like to be unique and not too many people in Montreal know about TK and I Hope it stays that way. I prefer to have to buy my stuff on the internet or when I travel to NYC than to buy it here as everyone else could too.

  16. Beatrice says:

I sort of agree with Marie – I hope the same won’t happen to Tokidoki as it happened to Paul Frank – I remember I bought my first Paul Frank wallet in New York City at least 10 years ago in a little store on Bleeker, nobody knew about PF then and look at it now, it is everywhere, still cute though but not unique anymore.

  17. annie says:

i really want a lamore gioco, but now the boots (the first print shown on this site) are at the top of my list of needs in my life.

i will probably die without them.

  18. Chanel says:

I agree with marie and beatrice in Hawaii every time I go to the mall almost every ten people are either wearing a tokidoki lesportsac bags or tokidoki merchandise. Hence the reason I have to be complete updated on which stores come in with what because the sanrio in ala moana ran out of their tokidoki for hello kitty merchandise within 2 1/2 days.

  19. Yumi says:

I love the design, but I don’t think I could wear them ): it rains a lot in hawaii, but it would look tacky if I wore them all the time (which I want to since they’re so NICE!) hopefully there will be regular boots in which you can wear all the time in the future

  20. shuzluva says:

I’m thrilled to be relatively old compaired to the general tokidoki crowd; all my friends and family think all of my toki stuff is totally “me”.
I love the leopard boots, and think I’m going to have to see them both in person!

  21. annie says:

    shuz-

i’m 26 and most of my friends are 26-35 and are “gaga” over my tokidoki stuff, but yeah. it’s totally “me” and nobody else really has it.

i have never seen another person with a tokidoki bag in my mid-michigan living space.

and i don’t know what you guys are talkin’! i’d be wearing those boots every day of my life! i love them! but i tend to dress like a mental patient most days anyway.

  22. Beatrice says:

Don’t worry! I am 39 and mother of one, and a complete Tokidoki addict!

  23. Susy says:

    love *-*

  24. Bridget says:

Oh I almost forgot. These rain boots are limited addition as are most Tokidoki items. According to the manufacturer only 1200 pair of each design will be produced.

  27. marie says:

OMG! did anyone see the http://www.tokidoki.it blog today?! There will be a TK laptop! Uhfortunately, the web page they refer to is only in Japanese so I have no idea when it will be available in Japan and how much it will be…anyone speak japanese here that could translate the infos? And look at the cute shirt, hope they make it for the US too!

  28. Nicki says:

  31. Bridget says:

Dustin – Good to know! I definitely want to get a pair of those leopard ones. ;D

  32. JuJu says:

OK now I gotta check out the new TD bags if they’re already out at Macy’s…also, does anyone think that this discoteca print on the chooka boots would looks great on their bags?? or is it just me? haha I think the 80′s bold print and the discoteca (not leopard) print is awesome!!

  33. Lesley says:

    where can these be purchased?

  34. Tiffany says:

I heard that the release date for these got pushed back until November for these, anyone else heard that?

And I really want the other print of these but I have never bought shoes online because I have man feet and I have to try them on first lol. So does anyone own this type of boot from the company making them and let me know how they run in fit (width esp)? It would break my heart to get them in the mail and they not fit!!!

  35. Bee says:

Does Jack & Jill have a website? Thanks.

  36. Bee – No, unfortunately they don’t.

  37. Alison says:

When are these coming out?!?!? I’ve been waiting for their release for so long!

  38. The release date has been pushed back to next month.

  40. sami says:

Is there any way to tell if your tokidoki rainboots are knockoffs? There seems to only be a guide for bags, but I bought these rainboots on ebay and they’re faded and really low quality in appearance. Thanks for your time!

  41. sami – Pics, please. :) I haven’t heard any reports of fake boots thus far.
