Reader Anne just let me know that Nitrolicious has a post up showing tons of photos of 3 pairs of flats and 4 pairs of sneakers from the upcoming spring 2009 tokidoki x Onitsuka Tiger footwear collection.
The flats are called “tokidoki Lunetta” and the city sneakers are called “tokidoki Lawnship.” The Lawnship sneakers will feature a glow in the dark print on the side, and are scheduled to be released on February 1, 2009. The Lunetta flats have a small heel and a bow on the back of the shoe, are scheduled to be released on April 1, 2009.

the black flats are alright but the other colors are pretty ugly. and the black striped sneakers are alright too. they are going to be ridiculous prices anyway

i already have a pair of the other sneakers and i adore them so much! i am in such a dilemma with the shoes because i want to wear them casually, but i would die if they got completely trashed! i’ll probably pass on the flats and go for another pair of the new sneakers!
I personally am not a fan of the flats, but it’s nice that they’re giving consumers the option. I do like the sneakers more than the first run, but I’d better save my money, lol. Grad student lifestyle.

I think these shoes are cuter than the last season’s. They also look softer and more comfortable. I really want them, but the feeling will probably pass once I see a price tag.

I saw these in the Onitsuka Tiger boutique in Hong Kong (behind Sogo) and THEY ARE ALREADY ON SALE!! This was on 2 Jan 2009.
I got me a pair of Lunettas AND a pair of Lawnship. My hubby got the Lawnship, while our friends got a Lunetta and Lawnship each!
Seems the shop only carries one pair of each size for the shoes, so it’s really limited stocks. Average price was about US$320.
I’ve gotten my Gray Lawnship on 10th Jan. It’s already on sale here in Singapore as well. US$320 sounds like you’ve been taken for a huge ride. Mine was priced at US$170.
Available in limited quantity at Star 360 outlets, found at Paragon, Wheelock or Tangs, all conveniently located at Orchard Road.

i bought the shoes in the first picture today, in white and in pink but there were none left in my size in the grey/black
the diamond is my favourite character so i am gutted, they checked all their other stores interstate but there are no size 8 left anywhere to order :/
there are none on ebay so i am just posting here in the lame hope that someone will know where i can get a pair from (online, i am in australia)
or if anyone has them in an 8 and wants to sell them to me lol idk if i am allowed to post that here but i thought it was worth a try
