Reader Puasmommy has reported that the new Discoteca print bags have hit Hawaii already, and are available now in 11 styles at Chic Icon at the Koko Marina Shopping Center (Hawaii Kai). They also have the tokidoki pillowcases and will be getting items from the second line of tokidoki for Hello Kitty on April 2nd – join their e-mail list for a 15% off coupon. Here are some photos of the new Discoteca print bags from Chic Icon’s myspace – I think this print is really cute! I see lots of returning favorite characters in it.
Puasmommy was also able to take these closeup pictures of the print for us when Simone was in Hawaii at Nordstrom’s launching the Leo and Geometric Girl bags (Hawaii’s Nordstrom doesn’t have the bags yet – someone from tokidoki allowed Puasmommy to take these photos). This is a welcome change. I really do like the brighter colors. I wish they had more of a theme going on with the bags these days, but it’s all good. At least some people still enjoy them, and good for me that I’m not a huge fan since I need to be saving the moneys anyway.

These bags are awesome! A little on the pricy side. I was looking at Karmaloop, and their whole Leoprint collection is on sale!!!!! I’ve never seen these bags on sale, but it is quite the bargain! Ya’ll should check them out at Karmaloop.com!

The disco print has hit L.A. already, so I am sure that it will be other places in the states soon too! It is super cute. It is bright & has a lot of awesome characters, plus some of the girls…I fear I’m gonna have to get it.

I wish Ala Moana wasn’t so far from where I live. Prototype also has Geometric Girl and those plain black ones in. No sale, but the dude did say the other day they give 10% off I think. Make sure to ask.

I have a ton of them and everytime I say this is the last one for a while and then the next one comes out and I have to have it. LOL!!! I just got my Discoteca Marina bag today and I love it! I was originally going for Geometric Girl print, but they did not have it, so I went with this one instead!! LOVE IT!! it’s tooo tooooo cute! It’ll keep me busy for hours just starting at it!

I have had 4 tokidoki bags (LeSportsac series). After knowing that there are 4 new prints available, just couldn’t wait to check it out @ Macy’s. Yet, I went home today with full disappointment. I’m not sure if anyone out there has the same feeling like me….. it’s about the material. I noticed that the material is different than last year’s material which is kinda rough and the color isn’t sharp but blury. I still like how it was.
Also, I read comment that there are too many blank spaces not full with characters like before.
Hope that there will be surprise after this season~~
