just a note – i called tokidoki this morning & they said the iPhone skins are only for the 3G phones. (makes me sad b/c i have the 1st generation iPhone.)

I felt the SAME way but I bought it anyway…and I was TOTALLY surprised that the reason why it was $12 for shipping is because they send you a BUNCH of other things with the gel skin! (At least it did for the macbook one!)
It comes with a complete catalog of the 2009 clothing, bags, baby gear, watches, toys and even a few pages of beautiful colored Tokidoki art! It’s like 60 pages or more long and quite heavy!
It also comes with a Tokidoki pin, stickers, and a free $2 gift card to the website that allows you to download Tokidoki wallpapers for your phone.
If it weren’t for all the extra goodies, the $12 would be totally unjustified. But the macbook skin comes in a HUGE box filled with tissue, bubble wrap, and all the goodies (:
Ku’ uipo- I am sorry that you were given wrong information. The Gelaskins do indeed fit the new and the old Iphones. The size difference in the 2 models is so minimal that it fits both.
I ordered a gelaskin for my 17″ MacBook Pro and one for my iPod Touch (I don’t have an iPhone) and I only had to make a small adjustment to get the iPhone skin to fit onto my iPod touch and it looks on a little akward, (i just like having the graphics on the back). They go on really well and don’t bubble up at all. I am a little confused though, the tokidoki wallpapers that you are supposed to be able to download to match the skins are not up on the site (maybe they will be up soon). Has anyone been able to find the downloadable tokidoki iPhone wallpapers on the gelaskins site?

How well does the gel skin stick to any laptop material? Cause I have a vaio laptop with a bumpy surface.
Also any problems with dust and other fine particles sticking to the sticky side making it dirty and not stick as well?

I just got my laptop skin in Inferno, and it’s REALLY AWESOME. Totally worth every penny.
I didn’t receive the pin or catalog either, though. I was looking forward to those goodies. ;_; The huge box did take me by surprise — I was expecting a slim envelope of some sort. Nonetheless, the cute stickers & gift card were a welcome bonus!
