Simone Legno for Target Bags
In addition to the Simone Legno for Target t-shirts, two more items from this new collaboration popped up on the Target website today – bags! Spotted by reader JJ, the pages are up for two different bag styles – a messenger and a backpack. Both items are “currently unavailable,” but here are the links and pictures:

Joyce,
I went to the Target in Atlantic Center (Bklyn) yesterday, they have both backpacks, notebook (both kinds) and the clipboard available. They were located in the Back to School Section, not hard to miss since there much school supplies out. the clipboards and backpacks were in a separate section than the notebooks(they are located in the school supply aisle). I didn’t see the shirts thought =[ I wanted to get the eco tote, folders, and pens but they were out when i was there.
Does anyone have the DPCI for the notebooks, etc? :] Any will be helpful! Because of you guys, I managed to hop on over to work (I’m a lowly salesfloor person at Target lol) and search the backroom with the DPCI for the reusable bags. Manager didn’t even know they existed, once I pulled it out and bought one, he wanted them all out on the floor lol! Thought they were cute.

DPCI for
notebooks are: 081 20 0184
3-ring binder: 081 13 0145
folder: 081 13 0144
clipboard: 081 15 0125
those were the things I bought…so hope that helps!
I’ve gone to West Covina, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, La Verne (Not really in LA, in the city.. but East Los Angeles area). The pictures I took were from the Upland store. I haven’t seen them anywhere else.. I am planning to go to the West Covina one again tonight to see if they are out. I need the eco-tote bag. Whenever I ask a store associate, they say that the rest of the back to school stuff will be out by the end of the week.
i live in the south bay area and went to one of my near targets the other day.. and they barely had the back to school section up.. but the simone legno stuff was up.. it looked like it was already ‘hit up’ before my stalking ass got to it.. haha. (i been stalking all the targets for weeks) but they had everything EXCEPT the backpack and messenger bag ;( and that’s all i really wanted.. then i ended up buying one of everything and two of each reusable bags, mechanical pencils, and highlighters.. I DON’T EVEN GO TO SCHOOL nor have children that do… hahahah
i wish there were pens and markers too.. and pencil cases/pouches.. he should make those.. i’ll probably check another target later today for the bags..
but if anyone also needed the dcpi numbers for pencils & highlighters..
pencils 081 20 0193
highlighters 081 20 0192
happy shopping
Kat,
You’re so lucky you have 5 targets nearby!!! Gas costs too much for me to make those kinds of runs any more. I found 2 random notebooks in my store, but there wasn’t actually a display set up and when I asked a sales associate, they said the items hadn’t been set up yet, were still in the pallet and wouldn’t be out on the floor for another day or 2 at least! AUGHH!
Thanx Karen, tofufar, and Dee!! I’ll def try n check out those targets, hopefully they still have sumthings in stock.. U guys r the best!!
Hey Kat,
Did u go to the one in Torrance & Carson??? Do they have any there?
Hi!
DPCI for
Lil’ note books (monkey & “the kids): 081 20 0187
i would like everything but unfortunately i’m in mexico.
everything is so adorable and cheap
so like some people, i went to 3 different targets. i live in LA. 1st one in west hollywood (la brea/santa monica blvd), had the 3 ring binders, reusable bag, folders, mini note bads, clip boards, boys tshirts, highlighters, and both backpacks/messenger but only 2 were left of each). 2nd store i went to was on la cienga near the See’s candies. i forget the cross street but i know it starts with a R. they didn’t have any display up but i showed them the DPCI and they were able to find the backpack in the back and still sealed up in the plastic. 3rd store was on jefferson in culver city. they didn’t have any of his stuff up but when i called, an employee told me that they had 3 but it could be anywhere and none in the back after i gave them the DPCI code. so best bet so far is the one in west hollywood that had most of the items available where i am. wish they had the mechanical pencils since i use them a lot at work. love the prices and i still think the designs are cute too.
I’ve already gotten several compliments on the reusible bags!
I love eco-friendly shopping bags, especially the toki bags from last year’s Comic-Con. I hope they have a new version this year!
yeah i just bought the backpack and all of the school supplies. therelike so cute! and for $19.99 i just had to get the backpack cuz usually i spend $40.00 for a back pack and the school supplies was so cheap i just had to get everything! I’m a huge toki doki fan!
Woot! Got everything for myself and my daughters too =) Next stop is the SD Comic-Con to check out what’s in store there…thanks for the info on this blog about the school supplies & tote!
I went to the one in Torrance & other one in Carson (South Bay, southern Cali). Both still have several backpacks & messenger bags. I didn’t get any of them b/c the material doesn’t seem to be enough for my heavy books but i got the mechanical pencils, highlighters, folders ( 3 styles), 1 clipboard & 1 reusable bag. I was only able to locate the girls top but not the boys’ one.
I went this morning and it looked like nothing had been touched! I got both bags, 4 reuseable bags, and then a bunch of the school supplies. I don’t know what I’m going to do with them all since I have no use for school supplies, but it will be good to have them just in case I ever do need them lol!
my local target got everything this week and i went today and bought one of everything, basically. so excited! =)
but – i forgot all about the reusable shopping bags and forgot to look for them. what section have you guys been finding them in?
and have all the DPCIs/SKUs been posted? or would anyone like me to list any that may have been left out?
smoke_monster, the re-usable totes should be on the same display as the supplies so if you didn’t see them, chances are someone got to them first. Could be one of the jerk wads that’re selling them on ebay for about $10 each since a few of the sellers have 10 available >_
btw, i don’t seem to be able to post a website, but the t-shirts are all online, just go to www dot target dot com slash simone.
aww – i hope they’re not all gone! i gotta run up there tomorrow again to return something, so i’m gonna check again. (i wouldn’t be surprised if they were right in front of my face and i missed them somehow. :-p )
thanks for the info, cindy!!!
no prob smoke_monster
btw, you really should bring the dcpi # with you for the tote, they might have it in the back
i ran in today, and they don’t have the bags. they don’t even have a hook for them to hang on or anything. :-/
maybe i will call later this week with the dcpi# and see if they have them. thanks for the suggestion!
smoke- take the dcpi# in or call with it and see if they have it. If you can’t find it I can try my Target and pick you up some. I was there today and there were still 5 or so left on the Simone display. But when it first came out I had to have them find it with the dcpi# for me.
Just let me know via myspace if you want me to do that.
will do! thanks so so so so much!!!!!
would anyone be willing to find me the school supplies and send it to me? i can pay for shipping and everything…the stores in Hawaii ran out of their stock with in 1 hour….or if anyone in Hawaii has extras I really want the binders and spiral notebooks the folders and the clipboard…if you could get back at me i would be so grateful! Thanks

…for those of you still looking to score in store only target stuff in SF Bay Area..i just raided all three Target stores. here’s an update:
Tanforan..managed to purchase: highlighters and two tiny notepad/books 99cents each. –only highlighters are left, not much left unless they restock.
Target @ Serramonte Shopping Center..managed to purchase: assorted binders, notebooks, and book covers. —no backpacks, messenger bags or pens or pencils.
Target down the street from Serramonte managed to purchase: backpack (already had ordered a messnger bag a motnh ago), scored the last composition notebook and a backpack. —only one or two backpacks and messenger bags (but i think that these should be easy to buy online), lots of binders but limited in styles.
overall a good haul…would be fun to find the pencils and pens..hope all 3 target stores restock soon!
good luck hunting! =OP
wondering when this lady got these simone legno for target items!

Got my merch at Diamond Bar in Southern CA. I hauled away about $60 worth of stuff, including 2 reusable bags, a messenger and backpack.
I really love the backpack; it’s a perfect fit [for me] and the bottom doesn’t really sag with a couple of thick books and binder. The pieces of material over the zippers kinda make it hard to zip/unzip, but overall, very happy with it.
I was excited for the messenger bag but ended up disappointed. Its pretty flimsy, and I’ve had my share of messenger bags. Felt like the stuff in the little pockets under the flap would fall out and no thick foam/board on the bottom.
It WAS $20, so I guess I shouldn’t have expected much? I do like how it’s pretty roomy though, so I’m keeping it.
Oh, yeah, I got 2 clipboards; be sure to check that it actually cllps down paper on both sides. One of the corners on mine doesn’t clip down all the way… do’h!
I’m now a SoCal chick; if anyone needs their Target fix the one in Sports Arena has everything, and if Hawaii people need, email me at khyuffie at gmail dot com
well i think their so kute…
ii have a question their$19.99
online but are they the same price in stores??
ii so need to have 1 they sell them a target right??

hey so if u go to target.com and search for tokidoki, alot of the dark horse products come up…does that mean that the in store targets will be carrying those items too? or just online??

When I was about to tenter Target, I saw the Simone Legno for Target sign and just ran straight in. I was so excited and immediately grabbed the black backpack. I’m really thankful that Simone did make a new backpack because I was hoping he would design one. I do like the tokidoki designer backpacks, but they’re not the type of style I like and they’re costly. I own two tokidoki hangbags and it’s a bit of a hassle to carry them at school, so this is great. I also love the fact that it costs only $20. I bought it right away. As for the shirts, I was dissapointed. They were too small for me because i’m in high school and I don’t like the glitter at all. I didn’t buy them even though they were really cheap. Thanks Simone for making a cheap line of stuff and spreading the word about tokidoki. (Even though I liked it better when I was the only one who obsessed over it.)
I bought all 3 bags and some T-shirts. My fav bag is the backpack it’s really sturdy for $20 it makes a good diaper bag!! Baby son loves Toki stuff and he prefers the messenger bag over the backpack. I bought the messenger bag though I don’t like the style as much but it looks too cute to resist.
Maybe I’ll give it away. As for T-shirts, yes adults can wear. I’m a dress size 6 and the XL girls shirt feels a little loose on me. I normally wear adult toki shirts size L.
As for those of you who have never seen the bags in person, with the exception of the re-usable tote, the other 2 are pretty good, there is embroidery detail and very well done. They both look far better on hand than on the web photos.
