Simone Legno for Target Bags

In addition to the Simone Legno for Target t-shirts, two more items from this new collaboration popped up on the Target website today – bags! Spotted by reader JJ, the pages are up for two different bag styles – a messenger and a backpack. Both items are “currently unavailable,” but here are the links and pictures:

addicted_2color: you are right…the bag is only $1.99! For some reason, when I got them off the rack it had the price of $4.99 and I didn’t even bother to look at my receipt til today and saw only $1.99! I didn’t see any of the stationery stuff :( but will keep checking!

  3. Emily says:

I ordered 2 messenger bags and 2 grey t-shirts! But I love the little shopping bags – I wish they had those on the website!!

  4. Jenn says:

For those of you in SF Valley, a friend told me they have everything at the Burbank Target and some at the Glendale one.

  5. Beatrice says:

    Hello guys!
anyone want to sell one of those reusable bags? it is so cute but in Canada we have not target stores!

  6. delsey says:

any chance we could get the DPCI number for the reusable bag? it should be printed on the price tag.

    thanks!

  7. delsey says:

actually, DPCI numbers will help us all locate items in our nearby Target stores (just call the store and give them the number). I would love if anyone who has a DPCI number to a Simone Legno for Target item (which is directly under the price) shared it. Thanks! I’ll start.

    For example:

    Legno Boys’ black tee: 076061178
    Legno Boys’ grey tee: 076061183

  8. Kaitlin says:

Here are the DPCI numbers for thetwo book bags:

    Messenger Bag 069-00-0723
    Backpack 069-00-0722

  9. Kaitlin says:

Someone please please please post the DPCI number for the re-usable shopping bag!!! THANKS!! =)

  10. Alice says:

    Girls tee black 032-08-6172
    girls tee pink 032-08-6177

haven’t seen the reusable bag at my local Target yet, though.

  11. michelle says:

oh and by the way…….the hang tag is a sticker. Very cool!!!!!

  12. delsey says:

kawaiicent– may we trouble you for the reusable bag’s DPCI number?

  13. ihateTDfakes says:

OHHHH the girls’ shirts are cute. Must check out our target!

  14. helixPEA says:

    Los Angeles, CA:

At various Targets around my area, I was only able to find the t-shirts were out (all 4) on display already. I got all four. :X

Also.. I asked store associates about when the “back to school” stuff will be out, they said they put up that stuff after July 4th. So.. I’ll be there on the 5th!! I do believe that the stationary and backpacks and messenger will be in that section. T-shirts don’t really belong, I guess, so that’s probably why they have it out on display already.

  15. Kaitlin says:

So I was able to get a whole bunch of the school supplies today at the Target Great;and store near my house. I also got 2 re usable shopping bags!!

Here is the DPCI number for the bag: 212-32-0030

  16. Alice says:

    Thanks Kaitlin!
I called my nearby Target (Riverside, Ca, at Canyon Springs pkwy and Day st.), and they have the reusable bags now! Looks like I’ll be making a shopping trip this evening!

  17. Kaitlin says:

You’re welcome Alice! Glad I could help you out. =)

  18. Susanna says:

For the L.A. area folks, the Burbank Target does not have any of the reusable bags in stock right now. They expect more in the future.

  19. michelle says:

Chicago peeps-The Target on Peterson and Western has the reusable bags. They went in the back and got them for me. just give them the DCPI # 212-32-0030. School supplies should be out after the 4th.

  20. Sk says:

Burbank Target has only had the shirts so far, I donno what is is about that Target but they are the WORST! I have had better luck @ the Glendale one……down with Burbank!! lol

  21. kawaiicent says:

Sorry guys! I just back from Shanghai this evening so did not check the blog til after :( but thanks Kaitlin for giving out the DCPI number! They are really cute bags for such a GREAT price! (When have we seen Tokidoki bags for only $1.99?! Usually there is another digit tacked on! xD) I do hope my local Target starts to carry the school supplies and messenger bags!

  22. delsey says:

thank you, thank you, thank you for the shopper DPCI, ladies! You rock.

Hope I can find one in my neck of the woods.

  23. Alice says:

    Beatrice- email me lotusangel42@gmail.com
I’m happy to help out a fellow Canadian, especially on Canada Day!

  24. Jennifer says:

Found the girls & boys tees here in San Diego =) Got them for my older daughter & my niece. The local Targets here are slowly putting the school supplies up & around. Haven’t seen the reusable bags yet but hopefully soon or else I’ll have to call & give that DPCI #. Just an FYI – If you don’t find the messenger or backpack at your Target & you plan on ordering on-line, you get a good discount if you are a AAA member. Go to their site & log-in, click link “Retail”, scroll down to find “Target”, & it says you get 10% off purchase + free shipping over $50 which is good until the end of this year.

  25. dar says:

Alice – want to help me out as well?? ;D

  26. Tiffani says:

Definitely use the dpci girls! Most targets have them backstocked! I went to 4 targets yesterday and decided to try my luck again today and I finally asked someone with the dpci and it turns our all the stores I had gone to yesterday did have them! Just backstocked!

  27. Grace says:

I’m going to have to hunt down those recyling bags!!

BTW, does anyone think those messenger bags are just humongous? I’m kind of tiny, and if these were meant for kids, these things are much bigger than any messenger bag I’ve seen! I’m most likely going to disappointingly, return them, as much as I love the characters.

  28. toki n hk jen says:

To anyone who lives within or around the la area, the school supplies are all at the sun valley target, they have the reusable tote too. The van nuys target on Raymer has the bags, super cute.

  29. Angie says:

So excited! Just went to target in Reno and they finally had all the school supplies! Made my day

  30. Sue says:

The Sun Valley/North Hollywood Has NOTHING. not one single thing…..

  31. Cindy says:

t-shirts only in the LA stores AUUGGGH THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!!! Anyone want to be really nice and post a pic of the stationary? :D I know someone posted a pic before (free forums?) but I can’t see it… Thanks in advance!

  32. helixpea says:

HI EVERYONE. Good news.. I stopped by Target today (I could barely wait).. and found that all the Simone Legno for Target items were out on display. (I visited another Target after, and they didn’t have anything out yet, so it depends on the store… slackers.)

I took pictures because I had to share with everyone here:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/40206929@N08/

I did my best.. sorry if there is glare from the in-store lights. I don’t know if this is everything, or if I got all the designs. I didn’t take any pictures of the reusable bag, because everyone’s already seen it. I didn’t get any re-useable tote bags because they were such back quality. The printing was coming off already. It looked like they printed it, and immediately folded it, so the ink was stuck together. I’m hoping to go get the tote bags at another Target that hasn’t brought out the merch yet.. I didn’t buy one of EVERYTHING because some things I didn’t really care for. The quality isn’t really that great, but for $1.99, what do you expect. It’s still SUPER CUTE, though.

Oh yeah, and HAPPY 4TH! Hope everyone (in America) had a fun and safe holiday.. happy shopping.

  33. puasmommy says:

    Thanks Helixpea…your photos are great!
The school supplies are soooo cute, I’m a teacher and it actually makes me want to go back to school :)
Gonna check the Hawaii stores to see if they are selling them yet?
    Thanks again for sharing!

  34. Cyn says:

My husband and I went to 3 different Targets to get the messenger bag, backpack, and reusable tote bag. I agree with Michelle because the trick is to get the DPCI numbers, give them to a Target employee and ask them to get them for you from the back. I’m a little disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be any pens, just pencils. And they should also do post it notes! My husband also thought it would be cool to have erasers cut out into the shapes of the characters. Hopefully the Legno line @ Target will become very popular and he will include more items in the future.

  35. Cindy says:

    Cyn,

For post-its, you can buy the “sticky notes” from amazon. The price is really reasonable, but you have to wait. It was supposed to ship on June 24, and they’re still not here!!! >_

  36. Cindy says:

btw, THANK YOU SO MUCH HELIXPEA!!!!! Lol now I can try to narrow down what I’m gonna buy before I go instead of walking around clutching EVERYTHING while I try to decide ;)

  37. Sue says:

Yay!! HELIXPEA!!! You are the coolest!! :-)
    Thank you Soooooo Much!!

  38. mykatjim says:

just got back from my local target (arlington, texas). i got 2 reusable bags, the pencils, highlighters, both mini-notebooks and the large girl composition book. they were already sold out of the bookcovers and both bags. i took a picture of the display but helixpea beat me to it!

  39. mykatjim says:

oh – i have one re-useable bag for sale. email me at mykatjim123@yahoo.com if interested.

  40. Joyce says:

Does anyone know if any target stores in new york have the bags or school supplies? I’ve looked everywhere and nothing >_

  41. Karen says:

Joyce, I’ve looked at the Rego Park Target in NYC and I was only able to find the boys’ shirts. I asked about the back to school bags and even shwoed a picture of them on my phone and was told they are online items only…

  42. Tofufar says:

    Joyce,

the Target on Queens BLVD has them.. last time i was there. u have to give them the SKU to locate them.. they are still in backroom.

  43. Tofufar says:

sorry, forgot to mention its the reuseable Bag..

  44. Wozzy says:

The girls’ t-shirts are made of a nicer thin t-shirt material. The boys’ shirts are awful IMHO. The cut is really bad and the screenprinting is really heavy and crisp.

  45. helixPEA says:

I’ve been visiting various Targets around Los Angeles.. it really depends on the store. Some stores bring out the new seasons items quickly and on time. Other stores are slacking.. Each day I visit them, they only have a portion of the Back to School merchandise out. I’m sure by the end of this week/beginning of next, all stores will have them (unless they are region specific).

  46. helixPEA says:

    Wozzy:
True.. the screen printing is horrible on both girls and boys t-shirts. You have to look through what they have in the store to pick out the best looking one. Girls t-shirts fit better, but what annoys the hell out of me is the glitter. It gets everywhere and sometimes it’s stuck to my face!

  47. kawaiicent says:

yay went to my local target and they now have the school supplies up! bought a few of the notebooks and folders… :D

  48. Cindy says:

    helixPEA,

Which target stores in LA are you going to that have the goodies out and ready? I still got nothing but shirts! x_X
