Reader PhRiQuE recently spotted a display tokidoki phone accessories at a T-Mobile store and took a bunch of pics to share with us! T-Mobile stores are now carrying tokidoki Sidekick shells, tokidoki car and wall chargers, and the Frenzies phone charms/zipper pulls – all pictured below.
Oh no fair… I have At&t, so no sidekick for me.
Of course as soon as I get rid of my sidekick these come out. We need a tokidoki case/skin for the G1. But I’m definitley getting the chargers, they will work for my phone.
So exciting!!
Last week, t-mobile also released 8 tokidoki themes to the sidekick download catalog: Adios Amigos, Discoteca, Inferno, Moofia, Pirate, Punk, Rocketeer, and Skull Camo.
I wonder why there is a larger variety of prints than for the the iphone.

I was wondering how long it’d take them to make these when I saw those new Tokidoki downloads come out. I have the Pirata theme on my sidekick.

the charger is a usb charger so it will work for anyphone using the usb port as a charger! so sidekick lx/08/09 or g1, etc can use it.
it took them long enough to make these! this is a custom one I made for my 08 when it came out. =P

You could upload pictures and make the custom shells on sidekickshells.com, but it was only for the sidekick 08.

Supposedly T-mobile will have custom shell-making options for the new LX very soon. The packaging on the back of the tokidoki shells mention it, but the site doesn’t seem to be updated to allow for LX shells yet. (The site also doesn’t display the LX tokidoki shells, just tokidoki for the older Sidekick.)
I wish they have these for my bb 8900 curve too
*sigh*…I have a BB…if they made it for G1 I’d consider switching…but my bf keeps tellin me Sidekicks suck compared to G1 so yeahh…guess I’m staying with my BB until something happens haha….oh well.

OK so i went to my local mall today and walked into the T-mobile store.
First off i don’t have a sidekick, i have an Iphone, but i wanted the charms for my phone.
Second, the shells aren’t that great, they look nice enough from afar but up close the quality isn’t great. idk if that’s the case with all sidekick shells but that was my opinion.
Also i didn’t get a look at the prices for the shells but the charm was 10 bucks, kinda pricey.
But if you live in the fair oaks mall area and want a charm i suggest you go there because the guy in the store was nice enough to let me open 4 boxes before i found the one i wanted!

OMG…what the hell they doubling the price of the frenzies? Better to buy em online…a few online stores still have em. & thanks for the info that it might not be worth it to get the shells (i dont have a sk either so i prob wouldnt but i wanted to just for it). hmm.

the frenzies at T-Mobile are $10!! rip off.. and the charger looks like it would work for my phone (Verizon LG EnV2)
its ten bucks yea, but if you go to the website and order with S+H it comes to almost 15.39, thats with the cheapest form of shipping. So i think the store is a better option.

$15 for a frenzie shipped? wow. That’s pretty horrible hahahahhaa. Eh, I got mine at a local store, all ~$5-ish. That’s the best route lolz….I know some places don’t have them though..if that’s the case I’d try Tenacious Toys (if theydidnt run out yet) or JapanLA or something. Both places provide reasonable shipping lol.

i’m not surprised that the charms are $10, tokidoki sells smallll bags for $60+! the pricing shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.
as far as for the iphone, i looked on their site and they have like 2 covers for it.

I do want change the color & style of my Sidekick 09 but all the shells that they offer aren’t my style, they seem stupid. I rather just change the color all together like to red.
i ordered an unlocked sidekick lx 2009 from ebay and it came with 3 shells and 1 protective cover from tokidoki!
