Reader Veracosa was at the tokidoki capsule store in NYC this past weekend, and spotted the new tokidoki Pegaso print bags there. She couldn’t take pics inside the store, but they said it was ok to do it through the store window – her pics are below!
Reader Tati also spotted the Pegaso print in a 2009 tokidoki catalog that she received with her recent order from tokidoki.it – the pics that she snapped of the catalog’s front and back covers came out the clearest, so here they are:

Wow, this looks like a fake a saw the other day. The bootlegs bags are sure up to date. This is my favourite print all year. Really.
As for the bags themselves.. they feel cheaper ):

smoke- Yup sunglasses, if you go on the tokidoki website and look under apparel, theirs a picture of a woman for “Woman’s Collection”. She’s wearing one of the sunglasses that are in the catalog.
the color of the solid bag is like…a brownish/dark greenish color.

Unrelated, but I felt the need to rant. Just got my Nobile Stellina Nera bag from Karmaloop today, and man does it feel like garbage. Seriously, it feels like I’m carrying around a windbreaker. The leather feels cheap, so does the strap. And it has a gold zipper?! It’s almost like I’m carrying around a Target version Tokidoki bag.
KL also overcharges $20 on all the bags, but if you use the HOTDEALS you get 20% off and free shipping so it’s actually cheaper ($101 I believe). But it really isn’t worth the price…sad…so sad. = (

Omg! I totally agree! they are gross! I would never buy one, They have nerve charging so much for “those things” I know Tokidoki is trying to cut back on cost but they seem to have cut WAY back on quality and not saving the loyal customer THAT much money!?! I mean come on…

I actually bought this bag last night as I liked the print so much (it’s a pegasus tokidoki after all). Although I really like the print, I was really unimpressed by the quality of the bag compared to my 6 other tokidoki bags. First off, the material feels much cheaper. The thread count on the material is much lower – and the fabric is rougher. Also, no rainbow zippers. I almost didn’t buy it on that fact alone! Additionally, I got the Nobile hobo bag and there’s no inner zippered pocket on the inside of the bag and there are no outer pockets (like the sorriso which is roughly the same size). All of that considered, this is probably my last tokidoki bag until they make some drastic changes to the quality of the bags.
Another print that is just “blah” for me. Again I say, at least everything else that is coming out is on point. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they will release a super cute, exciting print before Christmas so my husband will have it easy on what to buy me.
is there any way i can get a catalog or do i have to order something?
I haven’t bought any of the new bags, so which style would you guys say is the closest to the amica. I love really big totes, any help would be much appreciated.

JJ- sadly…Its just one gray polo, and a navy shirt with blue stripes on it and thats it for guys :/ unless they come up with new random stuff. For example…the new womans blue hoodie on tokidoki.it isn’t in the catalog.
*sigh* . . . thanks Tati, I think Tokidoki needs to “clean house” and get back to what they were….Im bummed about the “GREY polo & navy shirt w/stripes”…….Zzzzzzzz
I am so confused, are these new “budget” bags the only bags they are making now? At macy’s these are the only choices and it’s horrible. Everything about them is cheaper, except the price. Maybe this will help me quit the habit, but it’s still disappointing.
Not a fan, but glad that these bags still make some people happy. I am very content with my LeSportSac ones and the one Discoteca bag that I bought at a Loehmanns recently. You know what would be really cool? A really sturdy awesome canvas tokidoki tote.

hi! i got a new catalog too with my recent purchase. the cover of mine was different and included a bunch of new shtuff, including new tokidoki x hello kitty, some tokidoki x marvel, spring 2010 items, 3 new bag designs with 2 solid prints, new jewelry etc. i’ve looked through it so many times, i’ve practically memorized it! i’ll try to take pictures ASAP.

I totally agree with half the readers in this post—These bags are half a sgood as theoriginal tokidokibut not half the price. I live in NYC and i went to the tokidoki store to check the bags out for myself. Oh man, a huge dissappointment!!! The quality of the bag is cheap to the touch. the material feels like sandpaper. So sad that tokidoki decided to go this route:( Oh, the new print looks like it belongs to kids. I would never buy it!!!!

I’ve already seen the three prints for upcoming 2010 and sadly I’m passing ! ( Again ! ) There are no more qees in the upcoming 2010 bags yet another change for the worse that we have to put up with ! Instead you get a rhinestone Tokidoki logo on your bag . And pink leather trim I think not for me !
And the upcoming bags for 2010 are not at all exciting ! The prints well one looks like a series of postcards which make up the print , the second a ” watercolor print ” featuring the girls . And finally the third it is a black background with Tokidoki writing all over it with the characters scattered throughout . I thinkthere will be solid colors coming out as well . If you must see them now they are pictured ( for now ! ) on Tokidoki.freeforums.org .
