Hello Kitty Super Fan Day at Royal/T
Reader Karen attended the Super Fan Day at Royal/T in Culver City, CA last Saturday (she got in line about 7:30am) and was lucky enough to get the free Hello Kitty goodie bag, get both Mama Kitty & Simone Legno’s autographs AND win the tokidoki for Hello Kitty 35th anniversary overnight bag in a raffle held for the people in line for the artists signing!!!
Her photos below show her in line for the artist signing, Simone drawing on her iPhone case with Yuko “Mama Kitty” autographing her poster, one of the gifts from the goodie bag - a mini mirror compact with a silver chain, several views of the overnight bag that she won in the raffle (are we all jealous or what?! it’s gorgeous!!), and her with Simone. What a fun day it must have been!

Gloria: That bag is quite big.. too big to be a purse.
It’s definitely an overnight bag. I wanted to buy it and use as a purse, too.. but it’s too big. It’s only $125 The purse version of this is $90.. but I don’t really like the design of the bag (shape, staps, etc).

i really really really love this bag. combo of my two MOST FAV things. hk and tokidoki. is it out already? will they sell it at sanrio anytime soon? i’m glad that its not super expensive. i was nervous thinking maybe it would be 300+
i would have loved to use it as a everyday bag too but it would be awesome for overnights or short weekend trips.

The bag is pretty big. Perfect for a weekend trip. I considered selling it at first but came to my senses. LOL. I know this bag sold out pretty quickly on Saturday morning. Not sure if they are planning to re-stock.

HOORAY HOORAY ! I just got off the phone with Tokidoki and they will be stocking the Tokidoki For Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary line ! I am too excited ! Yeah ! The girl in which I spoke to could not tell me if they were indeed getting the full line but they should be arriving to Tokidoki.it in the next couple of weeks !
She stated that they will be sending out a mass email when the line arrives ! She mentioned also that if the line should sell out that they will TRY to get a second shipment in January but there is no guarantee both what they can get in and the amount ! I am really going to treat myself with this line ! I haven’t bought a handbag since Eco Mondo ! So I am excited ! I can’t wait to buy from this collection ! Since Tokidoki has been a let down for me lately ! Good luck to all those searching for this line !

UPDATE ! UPDATE ! UPDATE ! San Francisco Flagship Store is getting the Tokidoki For Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary collection ! But so far they said it will be the handbags only ! They expect the collection to arrive in mid to late November ! ( Just in time for Christmas shopping ! ) I spoke with Amy and she started a waiting list ! I think I am the very first one on the waitlist !
Also I spoke with Jamie at JapanLA and she stated that she didn’t know if they would be getting the collection . She is awaiting word . But she stated that if they do expect a shipment she will post it on the JapanLA Blog ! Which reminds me I must find out if only the Sanrio Flagship Stores will be getting the line ? I will call New York Flagship Store in Times Square to find out if they expect the line !
Hawaii girls what have you found out ? I want the Boston Bag and at $ 90.00 it is well priced . What else is in the Tokidoki For Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary line ? I hope we can see the full line soon ! Please if anyone finds out if other Sanrio Stores will carry the line please post !

i just called the sf sanrio and put my name down on the waitlist. when the bags arrive, they will call those on the list. it’s a first come first served basis so no holding of bags to be fair to everyone.

Tokibabe I just git iff the phone with Elena the store manager at the San Francisco Sanrio Flagship Store . She stated while there are no holds that day they will as they have done in the past take your credit card information with your photo I.D. faxed to them . They will ring up the sale (s ) and ” Hold ” the items until you go to the store and sign for them and pick them up !
It is the same ploicy that they have always have for previous Tokidoki For Hello Kitty Lines in the past . I only called them yesterday when they started the list ! I am lucky number 1 ! They will be calling in the order the phone list from the very first person who called and so on !
So in a way there are ” holds ” as before with credit card on file ! I have been calling the Sanrio stores for weeks since I heard of the arrival of the line ! So I have been in close contact with the Sanrio San Francisco Flagship Store for quite awhile now !
Thanks Steph I am alway glad to help others out and prevent them from paying crazy E-Bay prices ! Also to clear up any misinformation as well ! I hope this information is useful to other Tokidoki members ! I am still awaiting word from the Sanrio Flagship Store in Times Square New York too ! Hawaii gals have you heard anything in relation to the 35th Aniversary Tokidoki For Hello Kitty Line yet ? If so please post !

I was talking to an employee at the sanrio at windward mall in Hawaii and she said that they will be getting it sometime in November and they can put your name on a list and they can call when they put everything out on the floor

i remember i was at the flagship sf sanrio the day the past tokidoki hello kitty stuff came out. there were still alot of stuff left when i got there which was early afternoon. is there any way people/employees can post here the day before the stuff gets put out so that people can drop by the store to look at the items and purchase there in store like last time? i’d really appreciate it =)
i rather do that then have them cc it over the phone, getting there and then not liking the bag i got.

i think the overnight duffel is $120, not $125, but they were almost all gone I went the other day. the hard suitcase was definitely gone. they also have a bunch of the other tokidokiXhellokitty collab wallets, id cases, stuffed animals, and a bunch of limited edition t-shirts (the pix have never been posted on here before and i dunno how to describe).

hey just a formal annoucement to all tdk hello kitty lovers out there. This is JL from San Francisco Sanrio, we have been getting alot of calls about being on a waiting list for a new november line of TDK x HK items.
Just a note: THERE IS NO LIST for it. My assoicates and I have been yelled at by many customers due to this mistake from someone. Once again there is no waiting list for the new line! thanks for your understanding!
I hope i didnt sound too mean for this haha. i havent come here to update people in a long time. Now that i know theres a new line i’ll be back to update you all as much as possible! Thanks for your business!

JL SF I am confused ! I don’t like posting misinformation which is why I ask for both the names of both the store associates as well as the managers . I spoke to Elena the store manager just on Friday October the 30th . She assured me there was a waiting list and I was the first person on it ! I have called several times before that as well to inquire about the line as well as whether or not you will stock this line ! I had to follow up several times !
I spoke to Amy as well and was told there was a call list as well ! What has happened in a matter of a day with the regards to the call list ? I will call tomorrow to find out ! Hawaii is currently taking a wait list ! I am so confused !
jennay I hope whatever the process it is fair to everyone ! I mean why start a call list and then let some customers get a sneak preview a day before the items are put out and purchase items while not letting everyone know the items were in ? Anyways I am calling tomorrow to find out the situation !

I remember for the very first Tokidoki For Hello Kitty Line it was limited edition . Everything sold out in the waiting list stage ! The Boston Bag never made it to the selling floor ! It sold out in the waiting list stage ! I was on all four stores waiting lists San Francisco , Hawaii , New York , and Los Angeles too . So many people complained that it wasn’t fair to the people who didn’t hear about it earlier .
I am disappointed that there is no waiting list ! But as long as it is fair to all I guess I can’t complain ! I think the second Tokidoki For Hello Kitty Line the one that you speak of it was done differently because of numerous complaints from the public so they did both the post here as well as the email !
But the second Tokidoki For Hello Kitty Line was not as exclusive or as limited edition as the premier one which sold out at all four locations . Case in point I just got off the phone with Amy the sales associate at Sanrio in San Francisco Centre and she said that there is still stock for the second Tokidoki For Hello Kitty Line and many of it is marked down 20% . I didn’t buy anything from the second line because it was not limited edition as the first !

Alright folks so apparently there IS a list… But all it is is just a list to contact people to notify em that the products have arrived and can be sold. NO holds will be done. That is an absolute must to ensure fairness for all. A “send sale” will be the option for people not in the bay area. For such, the following information must be faxed or emailed: a copy of the credit card you are using, a photo ID, print out your name, address you want to ship to, and a line saying: I authorize Sanrio to charge my card ____ (amount). CALL in, pick out the items you want, THEN do this faxing/emailing process.
If you have any questions feel free to call us and ask but please refrain from consistant hounding of “are they here yet” I beg of you folks. Haha. Oh, further info about what items we will be getting exactly and quantity list for SF center will be released if company allows me to release such info. Rumor has it that japantown store(our sister store in SF) will also recieve these new tdk x hk items. Their process will probably be the same although I cannot fully speak for them. wooo thanks jimmy for the info!! that means a greater chance for me to get the duffle bag and possibly other items if they are selling it the sanrio at j-town. especially if you guys end up selling out at the flagstore. though i thought the jtown sanrio was gone??

also do you know when your jewelry goes on sale? or what day items are moved?
i go in after work every week to see what was put out in the sale case. so it would save me trips.

i was at the NYC Sanrio Luxe HK Birthday Party today…
they also give out hk headband..
when i purchase something. they give me a special 35th Anniversary HK Mirror.. not the one show above tho…
they also have the raffle drawing once every hour… too bad i didnt won anything… but i am happy enough to get some free gift.
also, i check with the lady. she told me they will ahve the HK X Tokidoki bag around Thanksgiving.

I stopped by Sanrio Luxe today, I was told people are calling everyday like crazy!! Seriously I don’t see the point of having to call every single day, the items aren’t releasing until the end of this month.

I know San Francisco’s Sanrio Flagship Store usually gets their shipment first ! The Sanrio Home Office is located right here in the Bay Area ! ( Yeah ! ) I can’t wait ! This is the only thing I have been really excited in regards to Tokidoki ! I am the first person on the call list in San Francisco ! I know this collection might run in short supply so perhaps that is why people are calling alot ! I’ve been calling at least once a week ! Because you never know it might come in early !
Mimi has the Sanrio Luxe Store have a phone list ? It took a long time for them to confirm that they would indeed carry this line . Hawaii and San Francisco seem to have known right away ! I wonder why ? I plan to splurge on this line ! My husband jokes that these will be my Christmas gifts !

Just wanted to report that i am back from Sanrio Times Square. They have the iphone cover, mini mascot, laptop case, luggage, makeup case, watch and the larger plush.
No overnight bags or other bags in sight.
