Winter 2009 tokidoki Clothing
Another batch of new tokidoki hoodies and t-shirts just arrived at Trendy Stars – including 4 new items for guys.
There are also a bunch of new women’s designs – some highlights are below.
The women’s items are also up now at Karmaloop, plus a few more.

Do you have any idea which retailers might have a good Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale on Tokidoki? I hope someone has a good sale!

I’m not even in2 all this bloging s*@t and I hate the fact that I sometimes have 2 do this.
That why I’m trying 2 b serious but at the same time add my ♪strange sense of humour♪ 2 this in case u tokidoki guys r reading this n making fun of us guys 4 wasting our time typing our view in these tokidoki blogs.
The dark t-shirt is cool & the grey hoodie was @ 1st was garbage until I saw what was on the back off it.
We need more of that type of style with that dark t-shirt with the girl on it and more hoodies like the grey 1 but only better.
I’ve notice with some tokidoki men’s & woman hoodies that the patterns of characters inside the hoodies and even inside the t-shirts seem 2 b better than what’s going on the outside of the hoodie or t-shirt.
But saying that you guys still aren’t thinking ♪ outside of the box ♪ with tokidoki men’s clothing.
Why is it that the tokidoki men t-shirt and hoodies don’t have the tokidoki characters taking up the whole t-shirt or hoodie?
With the prices ur asking + delivery charges especially 2 Europe. U tokidoki designers owe us bigger printed characters.
I.e. like the tokidoki Vendetta 2 Men’s T-shirt (search 4 it & check out how big the female character picture is on that t-shirt)
I also have not seen tokidoki rocketeer make an appearance on men wear.
That would help u guy with that sandy cactus, sabochan and now rocketerr reversible hoodies & new era caps.
If you look @ the 4 new hoodie the girls have on the 4 new girl hoodies blog there is so much going on in the front and the back of those hoodies. Not that much going on with the men new winter hoodies. “♪ Naughty, Naughty” ♪

I think it might b all about kid robot & the artist they collaborate with when it comes to us males.
Maybe we need more guyz & girls telling these tokidoki staff there need 2 b a change with the way tokidoki men’s wear is going. ♪ (REVOLUTION!) ♪
I don’t want 2 put words in any of u tokidoki guys mouth but the fact that none of u guys have had da ballz 2 holla back @ us says 2 me that u guys aren’t taking us mans seriously.
Or that ur laughing @ us because we keeping saying the same thing on these blogs and nothing is getting done about it.
It would b interesting 2 c if Simone Legno reads any of these comments made about his tokidoki men clothing line.
Don’t want 2 put any words in his mouth either but I could understand from his point of view that as long as his tokidoki men’s clothing r exclusive 2 him and we get all the rejects that by the way I don’t see him sporting in any videos or pictures of him then its all good 4 him.
Because some-1 will eventually buy them @ that price or @ a reduced price! (I’m I lying?)
At the same time not all da tokidoki man clothing is bad or I wouldn’t have brought the reversible cube hoodiie 4 half price or the Sabochan t-shirts.
In saying that the picture of Sabochan should have taken up more space on the T-shirt 4 the price it’s being sold 2.
I doubt ill c any-1 around my ways in the UK with either 1 of those items so that a + 4 me.
But back 2 da subjects @ hand about Simon Legno.
I wonder if dude gone ♪ Hollywood on his European fans/customers ♪ as we have not got any out of the box’s ideas, characters or exclusive tokidoki clothing 4 the guys & girls in Europe.
@ least da US have the option of buying tokidoki clothing from different store no matter how dull, boring, , crap, rubbish and/or s ♪ @ t they r.

Here a few more ideas 4 u guys.
♪ Tokidoki need 2 do collaboration with Nike, anime/manga, kid robot, Iceberg History, DC comics i.e. Teen Titans, Cartoon Network, Roca wear, art artist, others & me. ♪
Some men tokidoki wallets, record bags, tokidoki men back packs, tokidoki men plastic sting bags (like the ones @ JD Sports and Footlocker UK heads will know what I’m talking about) would also be great.

♪ Ill put this out there if u did run with 1 of my ideas would u guys give me any credit 4 that?
Would u pay me?
Would u ask me 2 help improve men tokidoki wear for US & European customers?
Or would u tokidoki guys take the credit 4 yourselves?

I’m done with dis bullshit 4 now until I see some changes 2 tokidoki men’s wear. Or when I need 2 add my 2 pence 2 da next tokidoki blog about tokidoki men’s wear.
U guys need 2 let them know how u feel N c if they make any changes.
If they do it’s all good.
If not then u know what Simon & Tokidoki designers really thing of there male fans/customers.
Will also c if tokidoki staff/ tokidoki bloggers will now come back with something 2 say 2 me or any of u guys!

18- i think Danielle is the only one from Tokidoki that reads n posts here..I agree with you on most of your points, and yeah im a guy too. you kinda lost me after the point where you realizes you wrote too much..lol…so i’ll just throw my 2 cents in. I think your dead on with most of your ideas, and could have taken the words out of my mouth.
-I think there should be more quality mens stuff in general, i dont think it needs to be exclusive to any one country. I know that there are numerous pieces of TK items that we here in the US dont have access too.. different styles and prints and characters, in both mens n womens.
-and this is just in general, but I think there needs to be LESS collaborations, i think the mens line needs really to be better established as sole TOKIDOKI before going out and doing other stuff.

I agree that sometimes the print inside the hood of the hoodies is a little more exciting/fun than the rest of the hoodie. I miss the all over print clothing!
I love the blues in the men’s hoodie, but I think the horizontal stripes are going to make me look fatter than I already am (fat being the reason I have to wear the men’s clothes to begin with). :-X lol The wait for a tokidoki hoodie continues…
Same thing here Kristina W. But I used to be able to wear girl’s hoodies in XL. The last one I got was the Leo Love hoodie and I had to sell it because it was too small…so sad! Please Tokidoki, make more and better looking guy’s clothing.
The flannel is so cute! I already have the Nero Hood top, so I wonder if having two flannels by tokidoki will be overkill lol.

Tokidoki has done a collaboration with asics (similar to nike), have done a collaboration with D.C comics, and they’re style is similar to anime/manga

Hey!! Look at that, They threw us old guys a bone…….Nothing to write home about, but still good. I really hope that’s not it…..but I am so glad to see the girls wear mens stuff aswell! Now maybe we can get some Super awesome stuff!!!!
Last I checked tokidoki did a collab with MARVEL, not DC- if they had I would have passed out tokidoki x Batman- heaven! IF you want your voice heard email them directly. I like most of the stuff that’s coming out, and it looks like they’re getting ready to do a lot more men’s stuff for spring. I just wish there were more accessories like the beanies and scarfs from tkdk europe…
clothing’s mediocre. sorry. still waiting for detail-oriented clothes. striped men’s hoodie is okay.

Do you know how the men’s clothes fit, in translation to women’s sizes?
I usually wear a size Large shirt (from anywhere). But when I placed my first Tkdk order recently, the Large shirt was too tight on me . It was in the women’s sizes. I hope XL fits me. Do you know how the size translates into men’s clothing? Like, if a women’s XL= men’s medium? I would appreciate any input into this.

amanda- u can look at the sizing chart on the tokidoki website. just click on any of the shirts then click sizing chart. a womens xl would be a mens medium or large

Thanks- I was unaware of their sizing chart! Now, if only my exchanged shirt would arrive…I sent back the too-small one two weeks ago and haven’t heard back from them. (I emailed them and hope to hear back by the way. I’m just surprised they haven’t sent out my replacement shirt yet!)
yay…there are two more boring new men’s tees on tokidoki.it…and of course one is navy n the other gray.
this is random but does anyone know if the calandar is 12 months or 16 months? like you know how some calandars have a page with september october november and december on them? i bought the calandar i just dont want to open until january unless i can be using it now
Danielle – the calendar essentially starts in January. There is a “pre-page” with mini Sept-Dec calendars (all 4 on the same page). hope that helps (and made sense =D)
