Today the first of the 2010 tokidoki bags were added to the tokidoki.it store – three new prints called Cartolina, Pepe, and Carmella.

These 2010 tokidoki bags have silver hardware (including solid silver colored zippers) and a new tokidoki logo charm instead of qees or frenzies. Thank you Puasmommy and Joyce for being the first to notice that they were up!

Well, I have to say that I’m glad I didn’t wait until the beginning of March to order my Cartolina Fascino. I didn’t think it would be sold so fast.
I’ve been using my bag for four days now and I really love it. It holds all my stuff and feels comfortable. I must say that the fabric is nicer on my Cartolina Fascino than my Stellina Nera make-up bag. My Stellina Nera is rougher and not as smooth.
I think we have been so used to below average quality and prints, That the first sign of anything mediocre everybody goes crazy, I also think Tokidoki.it only puts up a few bags of each shape to insure they “sellout” to create a lil “frenzy”…. The Giant Peach only got 3 of each, So…. Yeah.
Doesn’t take way from the fact that the bags are Subpar at best.
Kelly, I wish you had sold me your bag instead of returning it – dont think Tokidoki going to have anymore… snif snif! My bad, I usually dont wait so long but since the last styles did not go so fast, I thought I could wait a couple of weeks….I wont wait next time thats for sure!

i mean, i like the design but i am so not stoked with the canvas material..
the last tkdk print that i bought was the portfortuna print.. i think i have almost every print from the lesportsac line, up until that.. i just don’t have the bright orange one, adios star, paradisio, and from the later tkdk w/o lss.. eco mondo and concerto.. and after all those.. the canvas came out ;(
and the tkdk x hk items are pretty good as well. i have something from every line as well.. the only complaint on them is that the gold on the chain does come off after a while.. and the rhinestone on the heart & crossbone did fall off.. got it replaced, and fell off again. seen a few pics of others and same thing.. rhinestone was missing.

Although, I have to say the material is nicer than I had expected. It’s not as rough as some of last years’ bags.
Thanks elley for the pictures of the Cartolina bag. It looks good minus that pink trim they used. I’ve never owned an original TKDK or Le SportSac TKDK bag so I’m considering about this print. The TKDK x Hello Kitty 35th tote didn’t have a zipper/closure so that loses some points for me.

The shape looks like the top half of an apron.
The print is blah & the plastic pink straps look cheap.
I would never carry that.
Wouldn’t these be much cuter made out of nylon? The canvas makes them look cheap. RIP quality Tokidoki bags.

Finally managed to get my Fascino Tote Cartolina in Montreal from Little Burgundy – they just got them in! only 2 of them!!!! bought it straight away – it is pretty cute but for sure not the same quality as we had been used to but also not the same price! Quite happy with it!
Thanks Beatrice, I will go check Little Burgundy at the Promenades St-Bruno to see if they have some. I call the Sephora store at the Promenades and they received the Tokidoki make up today!
the cartolina is the most tokidoki out of all, but it looks really bad.those straps plastic will probably rip easily.tokidoki should stick with lesportsac…
I agree in a way, the Cartolina looks pretty cheap but keep in mind that it is half the price of the Sportsac; it is good for my wallet right now to be able to still get a Tokidoki whereas if they were as expensive as the Sportsac, it would really break the bank right now! so am quite happy it is cheaper and this way, I am not scared of using it!!!! Have about 30 Tokidoki and only using a couple of them….. they look too nice to potter around with! Have you checked out the new tee-shirts! they are so cute; available at the Giant Peach – shipping is so much cheaper than Tokidoki it. only 5$ for shipping for a shirt! not bad!!!!!

Marie, it is 5$ for shipping for a Tee-shirt to Montreal from The Giant Peach – for the rest I am not sure. No fees and duties from the Giant Peach if I remember well for a small amount – whereas Karmaloop ships with DHL and there is always something to pay when it arrives. Tokidoki charges around 25$ for shipping whatever the item. You always get charged duties when it arrives if the $$$ exceeds a certain amount. Customs got me more than once I can tell you!!!!!
Tran, I have quite a lot – am a bit of a shopoholic I must admit and a Tokidoki freak fan – but I am also 40 years old so I dont need my parents approval to get the bags although, Tran, to tell you the truth, my mother if she only knew how much I have spent on these bags would probably send me to my room! hihi! I honestly think Tokidoki should do what Jordi Labanda did. He has one line for the department stores with is normal price and than crazy nice leather bags which are expensive.
