i think the bags should have a unique qee or figurine. maybe instead of using the frenzies as qees, they should use cactus pups, moofia, or one of the characters we haven’t seen as qees yet.
I just picked up my European Shopper Tote bags (I bought another as a gift). First off, I have to say that the photo does not do it justice.
Also, because Tokidoki has taken a huge, divergent path from their earlier LeSportsac collaboration and 2008 years, anything coming out of their company now I look at as if I was just looking at another company. I’ve been collecting the collaboration bags that I want, and have the 2008 versions that I love (especially Carnival), so I’m trying to look at the new items differently as if this is a new product line with confusing branding.
The shopper tote is very cute. I wasn’t sure I’d like the handles, but they are definitely purple and not blue. The red haired lady is more of an orange haired lady. What you cannot see from the photos are the gromlets with the Tokidoki logo (tastefully embedded). The Tokidoki Brand label on the outside is a shiny gold which matches the very shiny gold zipper both in front and one which closes the bag. The lining is more of a very bright apple green and not quite as chartruese and the lighting in the photos made them to look. Also, the ‘red’ pull is and the carry bumper both are pink in person.
The fabric is a polyster canvas like texture. It is tough and durable looking. I bought this bag and the tote looking bag from Giant Peach for my trips to the Farmer’s Market. With its flat, rectangular bottom, this shopper tote from Chicki definitely will be a great bag. (I’ve not received the other bag yet).
Also, for anyone who does purchase from Chicki, once the package arrives in the USA, you can enter the Royal Mail tracking number into the USPS tracking feature and it will tell you where your bag is.

Even though the photos were taken in daylight versus indoor lighting, the shopping bag still looked more red in the photo that I took, but is shocking pink in person. I edited the colors when working on a Sony desktop to make them match the colors in person.
I’m writing this post from a different computer, and the colors look washed out when I’m on my Toshiba laptop, go figure. So depending on how your computer displays colors there may still be a difference.
For reference, I also posted the pink straps on the Fascino. That pink is more of a duller pink versus the very bright pink on the shopper handles and print. Since they are both very different styles of tote bags, each seems to work quite well as tote bags.
If you are looking for the Doodle Sports bag, Chicki has them back in stock. I just ordered one and can’t wait to get it!
