More tokidoki Goodies from Italy

Reader Silvia sent in some more photos of items in the tokidoki store in Italy to share with us all, posted below.  Isn’t the Carina bag adorable??  (Sorry the pictures are a little small – still waiting to hear back from Silvia if larger versions are available.)

European tokidoki items

Reader Henry sent in a picture of a tokidoki hoodie that was only released in Italy that he was lucky enough to find at the Melrose tokidoki store, which had imported two of them from Italy.   His lucky girlfriend Zayra now owns it, pictured below.

There was some Sephora x tokidoki event in NYC yesterday. Sephora was posting pics on their twitter.. Simone Legno was there, and a lot of hot models, and crazy skateboarders.. Looked fun. :( (in LA)

In case you didn’t know, shipping to and from Italy is ridiculous. If you look on eBay, many sellers will ship anywhere BUT Italy. Their postal service is pretty crazy. I shipped a Sailor Moon doll to Italy once after an auction, it was hell, and I won’t do it again.

So the high price of the hoodie is probably cause of the exclusivity of the item, and the ridiculous shipping they have to factor in.

To add on Rachel’s comment above me. Italy’s postal system can hold parcel packages for up to a month before it reaches to Italian residents. eBay buyers/senders worst nightmare. =X

I’m going to Italy and I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any Tokidoki stores in Venice, Rome, Florence, Verona, Siena or just the Padua area :3

I’d love to get my hands on some of the exclusives to Europe/Italy <3333

Hey Mila, there is a skate shop in Rome called – Tank, via adolfo albertazzi,49 roma-zona talent1.They have shoes, jeans and hoods mainly. You should also find gift / stationery stores selling Tokidoki school books, journals and the most awesome pencil cases.

We just snagged a few Carina bags for our store and it works out ok for us as we get free delivery to the UK. Normal Italian post is not so good as it takes forever and is pretty pricey.Even sending stuff to Italy is bad as lot’s of parcels seem to mysteriously get lost.

    Have a great trip!

I shall keep a lookout for that store when I go! I really want a few hoodies and clothes in general. I hope it’ll be near the places I go to (this is a school trip) otherwise I might have to sneak off to find my Tokidoki, haha~

are the items in Italy more expensive than the tokidoki merchandise here in the states or about the same? i really like the big unicorn bag that was pictured in one of the previous postings…going to milan for 2 days next week so hopefully i’ll get a chance to find out where the store is and see what they have! :D

Off topic question…has anyone seen or heard anything about the Mini Karl t-shirts that were supposed to be out by now? I believe they were to be a part of Karl Lagerfeld’s K collection for Spring but I haven’t seen anything yet.

Hi Kawaiicent – items in Italy are more expensive as they have to add on an extra 20% tax on to retail prices. The clothes seem way more expensive, the jewellery and bags are similar to USA prices.
