I just got a new Vacanze denaro in the mail and I love the print placement. The tiny lamb at the lower left is one of my favorite characters – it’s one of those cute hidden surprises that you don’t notice until you examine the whole print closely. Plus the yetti, sasquatch and gingerbread house are all on the front. I have a bunch more Vacanze goodies on their way to me soon too, I just adore this print!

As expected, the flood of extremely marked-up Foresta re-release bags has begun to hit eBay. After checking out the prices, I’m thankful that I already have enough Foresta bags in my collection. The new Foresta re-release bags look exactly like the original release, which I find a bit disappointing, except that they have Adios keychains instead of tokidoki for LeSportsac white bear qees.

Reader Heather just let me know that the tokidoki Vacanze print was released in Hawaii today, and the line was out the door before the store opened! She also reported that tomorrow will be the re-release of the Foresta print, which will be exclusive to the Ala Moana LeSportsac store on Oahu. (The Waikiki stores will not be stocking the Foresta re-release).

Reader Linda just let me know that Macy’s in Herald Square, NYC, has tokidoki Famiglia print bags on clearance for 30% off, plus they take an additional 15% off that at the register because LeSportsac is on sale. They also let her use a $15 rewards coupon at the register on top of the two discounts. She said that some people were buying arm loads of bags at a time, so the sale inventory might not last long.
Reader Jenn also let me know that she found some tokidoki Bianco print bags on sale at Filene’s Basement in NYC. She remembers seeing them in the Canguro, Zucca, Gioco, and Mamma Mia styles. Both the Union Square and and Sixth Ave locations had Bianco bags, but the Union Square store had a better selection.

I did a lot of updating to the Tokidoki Bag Archive this weekend. The Spring 2007 season is now completely up, and so is the late Spring 2007 release of L’Amore. I am missing pics of the L’Amore Bambino and Corriere though, so if you have good quality photos of either of these bags against a plain white background, please send them to me.* I will move on to getting the Summer and Fall 2007 prints up next!
