Panik’s Toy Box just let me know that they received part of their shipment of Cactus Pups yesterday, and have begun filling pre-orders. So if you pre-ordered the pups from them, you should receive them soon. They also now have full opened sets of all 7 Cactus Pups available for $34.99 per set. Quantities are limited right now, but they will have more available when they get their next shipment in January. I just ordered a full set - I will post pics when I get them.

Reader Tara let me know that the tokidoki Cactus Pups will be avaiable for purchase at the Simone signing party at Mobius today - Mobius’ shipment of the Pups arrived last night.  This should also mean that if you pre-ordered a case or blind boxes, that they should be shipping out soon!  I am looking forward to Panik’s Toy Box offering opened full sets of the Cactus Pups.

Guide to Fake Tokidoki Bags Update
I recently updated #5 of my How to Avoid Fake Tokidoki Bags on eBay guide to include information about the new batch of second generation original Tokidoki print bags that recently hit the LeSportsac Seattle outlet store. I also included some photos of the hardware on fake Pirata bags that have been showing up on eBay lately at the end of #5 so that you can weed out the Pirata fakes more easily.

Tokidoki Bag Archive Update
I am working on updating the Tokidoki Bag Archive on this site again, and I am (finally!) finishing up the Fall 2006 season of bags and getting ready to start adding the Winter 2006 bags. I should have more time to work on the guide again for the next few days, so hopefully I’ll make some decent progress.

Reader Mickey sent in these photos of people with fake Tokidoki bags that she spotted at the Anime Expo in Long Beach, CA last week - and she was nice enough to hide their identities. From what I can see, these fakes look REALLY bad!

According to STRANGEco, the release date for the Tokidoki Sandy and Moofia Mozzarella plush dolls has been delayed again. They will now be available sometime in the spring, with no definite date annouced yet.

The adorable Cactus Love set is on my Valentine’s Day wishlist for this year! This special production run of 2,000 sets features both Bastardino and Polpettina in window box packaging.

Another STRANGEco and tokdioki collaboration will be released this month - Sandy and Mozzarella plush dolls! Both are 9 inches tall and will retail for $19.99. They are available for pre-order at Panik’s Toy Box now.
